- I am not a hair care professional but I have been thinking about doing what you have done and had conducted some research. When I asked around I could not find any consistent answers. The fact that pressing hair removes moisture from our hair, the few ways I understood this dryness could be remedied were a combination of things as follow: 1) From the inside, do adopt a diet that allows your body to provide fatty acids to your hair roots and a balanced diet to keep you in great health. Drink a lot of water as this is necessary to regulate normal body functions anyway. 2) Daily use a small dab of natural oil over the hair such as Jojoba. 3) Wash the hair often- do not stretch a wash beyond 3 weeks. Use a silk protein shampoo paying attention to clean the scalp well and always have deep conditioning treatments paying attention to the ends using natural oil products like the Carol Daughter's line 4) Just like we did by resting our hair for a couple of years, from time to time it is recommended that we allow the hair to rest from the excessive heat of the hot comb and flat iron. I plan to find a wig close to my hair style to use in my rest period 5) When styling hair, try not to put excessive stress on the hair by pulling for eg. in a pony tail. Hope this helps. I plan to follow that regimen myself so let's hope it works for both of us.

- Q:Ok so there are some crimes which the state pursues and others where if there is no complainant then they don't do anything. Like I understand that in domestic violence cases the victim has to press charges, so what about something like harrassment? Does the state pursue the charges without a victim or is this one of those scenarios where the state is actually pressing charges instead of a victim? I guess I just don't see how if somebody in this scenario who refuses to press charges, there'd be a victimless crime, and therefore no crime at all, right?

Obviously, to prove some types of crimes, the victim's cooperation is absolutely necessary. For instance, an element of a theft charge is that the property was taken from victim without victim's consent. So, the victim will need to cooperate and testify He did not have my permission in order to successfully prosecute. Some types of crimes really do not need victim testimony, such as murder -- it's reasonable for a jury to assume that the victim did not consent to being killed.

- There are only a few brands of French Presses out there. I have 2 different sizes of Bodum stainless steel (thermal) presses. They retain the heat better, they will not break like glass ones, and they look really nice too. Go for it.

- Make sure that you use a base paint. If this pressed wood is near any water or might get wet, try and find a oil base enamel base paint and this should do it
