Solder the wire to the old wire and run it to a good ground. If you can't get it soldered a crimp connector will work,but not a good idea under the hood of a car, temporary at best

Here's the connections you should make: RH - 24VAC hot - connect to R wire RC - 24VAC cool - Jumper this to the RH connector G - Fan - connect to G wire Y - Compressor - connect to Y1 The O/B wire should connect to EITHER the Y/O or W/B, depending on your heat pump. If the reversing valve of the pump is supposed to operate when it heating mode, then you connect to the W/B terminal. If the reversing valve operates in cooling mode, you connect to the Y/O terminal. (within 18) Ground wire should be no longer than 2feet from the amp to chasis. 8 gauge is good but may be overkill for some speakers. If your speaker doesnt call for 8 gauge wire, then use a smaller gauge. If your speaker does need 8gauge wire, make sure the amp can accept this size

The wire i am looking at is 4 gague.: i did almost 15 years ago it was ship and i like the wire the problem was engine noise for 3 months and i refuse to believe it was on a simple cable but once i replace it with 4 gauge normal inexpensive wire the noise was solve not a good idea
