Usage and Applications of Wire Rod SAE1006B:
After hot-rolled the products shaped into coil and delivery as finished product, including round, square, rectangular, hexagonal and so on. Since most of the products are round, it is generally called wire rod. Carbon steel wire rod is widely used in construction and manufacturing. Carbon steel wire rod is mainly used for reinforcement of reinforced concrete and welded structure or reprocessed (roberts , nail, etc.) materials, especially used to produce wire drawing, welding electrode, nails, spring, electronic, precise machinery parts and so on.

- Q:I went to the craft store and bought some wire but it says stringing wire. Will that work? Also whats a good website to buy jewelry making supplies from?
- stringing wire is generally the best type for wire wrapping. i usually go with 22 gauge wire because it it good for small intricate designs and is easy to work with.
- Q:could someone teach or explain to me how to hook up the 1st one, i do not understand what is happening there. How do you connect thoes wires to the main wire??? the distribution?
- Ok, first thing you want to do is, for each subwoofer, wire a negative and positive together. You can use regular speaker wire to do that (well you're supposed to anyway). After that, you will have a negative and positive terminal left on each subwoofer. What you need to do is run a speaker wire from each of the terminals, so you have 6 different wires from 6 separate terminals. Make note of the 3 positive wires and the 3 negative wires. Now what you do is simply twist together the 3 positive wires together, so you have 1 positive wire. Connect that positive wire to the positive terminal of the amp (if it's a 1 channel amp. If it's a 2 channel, connect it to a bridged channel on the positive terminal. Or however you want.) Do the same for the 3 negative wires. Twist them together to have 1 negative wire, and connect it to the negative terminal on the amp. Finished! That kind of wiring is called Series wiring, by the way. The other kind is called Parallel wiring.
- Q:1 green wire, 1 black with red stripe wire
- The ground (secondary circuit) is the wire hooked to the car chassie or metal frame from the - terminal marked on the speaker. The hot wire coming from the stereo speaker terminal is to be connected to the + on the speaker terminal. With a volt meter test for power to determine the hot wire.Never guess which one is hot.
- Q:ok so i have 3 questions.i have an oldsmobile cuttlas supreme and i have a 0 gauge power wire that is 17 feet is that long enough???? and i have 0 gauge ground that is 17 feet is that long enough....and about the speaker wire..i have 8 gauge speaker wire that is 25 feet..is this a good setup.make sure u answer all these questions please thank you..
- the 17 ft of power wire is going to be fine. Just make sure you install an inline fuse by the battery. The 17ft of ground wire is a little bit too much, but you can cut that down. Make sure you ground the amp as close as possible so the voltage drop is minimal. The 8 guage speaker wire is way too high a gauge for speaker wire. You would be fine with 12, 14, or 16 gauge. The length needed depends on what speakers you plan to wire up. If its just subs then I would say thats more than enough. If you're powering components, you will need much more, probable close to 100. Overall it should be a good setup though.
- Q:I have a 1989 Nissan 240sx. Somehow the fan caught a hold of the wiring harness and tore all the wires. any idea how much it's going to cost?
- Buying a wiring harness will be prohibitive, and even transplanting one from a wrecking yard can be expensive. The harness can be repaired by splicing in pieces of wire where wire is missing and splicing together damaged pieces of wire. It is tedious but not particularly time consuming - I spliced in a section of harness after an engine fire in about 2 hours, working slowly.
- Q:Friend’s dog chewed my fuel pump wires on my 90 Chevy caprice classic I need to know what colors match up correctly. I have coming from the pump: Purple, Gray or (Tan color) black, only other wires in site coming from tail light harness are Pink, Gray, black/ white stripe. I have tested these wires and found out that the (black/white wire was ground, Pink was hot, Orange was hot not didn't light up as bright as the pink with the test light) Found nothing in Mitchell’s book to help also called dealers I printed out a wiring diagram but not much help..
- examine the connector the place the wires plug into the gasoline pump. that is unfastened and shorting out. Unplug it and seek for burns, or the entire factor could be melted which could be extra glaring. regrettably, this could require having get right of entry to to the precise of the tank.
- Q:A street lamp weighs 200 N. It is supported by two wires that form an angle of 130° with each other. The tensions in the wires are equal. What is the tension in each wire supporting the street lamp?If the angle between the wires supporting the street lamp is reduced to 100°, what is the tension in each wire?
- Problem 1: If the tension in the two wires are equal, the angle they make with the horizontal must also be equal. Always remember that a horizontal line is a straight angle; hence, it has a measurement of 180°. Let's look for the angle the wires make with the horizontal. 130 + x + x = 180 130 + 2x = 180 2x = 180 - 130 2x = 50 (Divide both sides by 2) x = 25° Each wire makes a 25° angle with the horizontal. We can now find the tension. The mass must be divided by 2. Using trigonometry, let's find the tension force. The divided weight of the lamp shall be the opposite side, and the tension force shall be the hypotenuse. sin 25° = (200 / 2) / Ftens Ftens = 100 / sin 25° Ftens = 236.62 N (Answer) The tension is 236.62 N in each wire. Problem 2: We use the same approach. 100 + x + x = 180 100 + 2x = 180 2x = 180 - 100 2x = 80 (Divide both sides by 2) x = 40° Each wire makes a 40° angle with the horizontal. Calculate the tension force. sin 40° = (200 / 2) / Ftens Ftens = 100 / sin 40° Ftens = 155.57 N (Answer) The tension is 155.57 N in each wire. Hope this helps!
- Q:I had my uncle-in-law hook up my American Bass Pro 800 Watt Amp but he used cheap wiring. The wire is fairly small and he told me it doesnt matter how big the wire is. But what i wanna know is, Is the wire giving the amp enough power or does American Bass Pro Amps suck?? Help please
- Okay, well the higher the watts the amp pulls the large cable you will need. My system pulls 500 watts (RMS) (1000 peak) and when i had it installed they ran 4 gauge wire from the battery to the amp, then used a separation block (4 gauge input and four 8 gauge outputs) to knock down the 4 gauge to 8 so it could connect to the amp. Usually the gauge wire that is the input size for the amp would be the wire you would want to run from the battery to the amp, unless you are running multiple amps. basically larger the amp=larger the wire needed hope this helps
- Q:Blue and white wires contain insulated strands and red wire has a bundle of non-insulated strands. How are the two types of wires (insulated and non-insulated strands) used in homes (i.e. what are they used for?).
- The bare wires in house power wiring is used as the grounding wire. I don't think you mean stranded wire. The wiring in your walls that goes to outlets and lights is solid wire. If you are just calling them a strand of wire, that is not a good idea because it is too easy to confuse with stranded, especially if you are not careful with proper grammar and spelling. The other insulated wires are used as hot and neutral. In most homes, white is the return/neutral line and the other colors (except green) are used for different phase of hot wires. If you have green insulated wires, they are used for ground.
- Q:can some one tell me how to wire two dual 4 ohm subs so i can get a 1-4 ohm load
