The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall.The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. It is suitable for small section heght, or when the housing bore isnot used for raceway , this type is recommended to use .The bearing is assembled into the housing bore under a certain pressure without fu rther axial location.
The draw up needle roller bearing generally takes its shaft diameter as the internal raceway .However , the proper LR type inner ring can be used in accordance with application condition.
The draw up needle roller bearing has two structures-with retainer and with full of needles. They are are divided intoopenend type and close-end type. The structure with retainer has the single seal ring and double seal ring .The structure with full of needles has a large load carrying capacity.

- Reds are your best bet. Although i would recomend getting bones swiss bearing. They may be more expensive, but they are well worth it. With bones, abec doesn't matter. Abec was designed for bearings for the industrial use. Although abec 7s arw good, bones dont have abec because they dont need it. They are further designed to resist the hazards that skateboarding may have rather than most bearings.
- Q: Wich 1s should i use and why?
- Abec isn't a brand you morons, it's a rating system. I've skated a few Rush Abec 5's before, they were really smooth bearings but they didn't last as long as some bearings I've had in the past. The only Blind Lifetakers I know of was a series of wheels they brought out about a decade ago, and they were horrible haha. If they are now doing bearings under the same name, I haven't tried them out. However Dwindle products (Blind, Almost, Enjoi, etc) have been great quality recently, so they might be worth a try. I'm sorry that wasn't much help on your decision, but with a lot of things in skateboarding, you have to try them out for yourself to see if you like them personally, as different people like different things. I personally skate Bones Super Swiss, they are expensive but a set usually lasts me about 2 years, so they are worth the money in the long run.
- Q: I have a sector 9 Cosmic 2 board and one of the bearings messed up. i need to buy spare bearings. i can't find longboard bearings while skateboard bearings r easy to find. r they the same? and whats a good place to buy beartings
- yes they use the same type of bearings and you can find them from your local skate shop or you can try fixing the broken bearing by cleaning it. what i do i put wd-40 and let it run through so all the dirt comes out and they once all the dirt is out you spin the bearing until the wd-40 drys out and then you put speed cream in it. but if you buy new bearings get bones reds.

- You can Just make sure it is high temp grease. I didnt see where it was for a skateboard. I think it was added after I answered the question. I was thinking it was for A hub bearing on an automobile.
- Q: I have to replace my front wheel bearings on my truck.Can you point me in the right direction on how to tighten them down correctly after installation.How tight do i make the axle nut or anything that may have to do while i'm replacing them.Thanks.
- G.M. recommends several different methods, but the most simple is the best. Your pick-up has disc brakes, and this is a factor in the procedure. After cleaning and packing the bearings, and assembling the hub and rotor assembly, with the appropriate socket tighten the FIRST retaining nut until it stops. You will feel it bottom out. Spin the hub/rotor assembly several times and tighten again until it bottoms out. Do NOT apply pre-load. Merely tight is sufficient. At this point, controversy arises. Some will advise to install the lock ring and outer nut at this position. It isn't wrong, it is just that if you back the nut off approximately 1/6th to 1/3rd of a turn, and then secure it with the lock and outer nut, the bearings will run just a BIT cooler,and the fact that the rotor isn't held rigid will allow the pads a bit longer life, and it won't affect either safety or alignment. - Q: I usually ride bones reds in my standard skateboards but i think it is time for a change .ALSO I AM BUYING A LONGBOARD to be exact im buying a coconut cosmic secter 9 longboard so im looking for the best bearings
- bones are the bearings most wanted, but people usually go with mhs or mini logos just because of price. as long as they spin, they will work. just don't go spend $150 on some bones swiss ceramic abec9 crap that are barely better than some random $10 bearings you can get in zumiez. btw for boards look at kracked skulls. you can find many 5% off discounts on line.
- Q: So, I guess I need to drop the subframe, crossmember and suspension.I can't get the oil pan out...If you know anything, help!
- Make sure to take the side bolts out of the oil pan. Believe there 12 oil pan bolts 6 side bolts. You can do the rod bearings in the car meaning take the cap off(Do only 1 at a time mark an arrow pointing to the front of the engine if there are no marks on it) But only do one at a time. Rotate the crank so the rod is a straight shot to you, take cap off. Push rod up enough to remove install new bearing. Make sure to put bearings in one way, only fit one way. After installing bearing onto rod, make sure it is flush pull down on the rod itself to seat it in place. Do not use the rod cap the bolts to seat it first. Then once the rod looks like it is in position, then place cap on toque to specs. Then rotate crank if possible to go to next one. Do the next one in line, dont skip around or you may loose track BUT!!!! If you are doing this for the knocking noise at engine start-up, its the piston slap is what is causing that noise it is normal per GM
- Q: how do u clean skateboard bearings?
- you take s socket wrench and loosen the nut and take it off and take off the washer , than the wheel than the other washer . Don't lose ur washers !!! Do this to each wheel . Take about 8 Qtips or more or less depending on how dirty ur bearings are , take the Q tip and rub the dirt off of the bearing . Each side and in the insides .
