- It should be okay, LAN cables are meant to be up to 100 meters long, your shorter cables shouln't pick up too much interference. Also, the wires are shielded and in twisted pairs which helps to negate interference. Not only that but for this reason the network adaptors will be designed to filter out low frequencies.

- Your subwoofer amp requires a given amount of power to run. Provided it is getting that amount of power, and provided it is free of ungrounded interference, it will produce as clean as sound as possible. A bigger power cord wont produce more power in itself, it would simply offer less resistance. And in this case, you wouldn't be gaining anything. Bigger cables only affect applications where you are delivering signal. Again, less resistance allows more of the signal to get through, offering (perhaps) better sound quality. Even in this case, it wouldn't have any affect on volume.

- The picture in the manual shows a standard IEC type power cord, which you can get at any electronics or computer store.

- Yes I'm sure this would work. Just solder the red and black wires to an other usb cable and leave the other 2 data ones going into the computer. Plug the power usb cable into your adaptor and It should work. The device is still getting the 5volts it needs so I see no reason why it shouldn't work.
- Q: When the cable is plugged in the light is yellow like usual but when I plug it into the Xbox it goes red and I can't turn on my Xbox. - Maybe the power management resetting the notebook after unplug the power. it's not reset the whole system, only adjusting into battery mode (long life). Commonly, the screen will blank a moment. it's normal. the setting can be found in Control Panel, Power Option.
