- Q: my MOBO has a 4 pin connector, but my power supply came with an 8 pin power cable, so what do i do? Also my MOBO has a SATA1 slot by itself, and two SATA slots called SATA 2 and SATA 4. - Q: I just bought a new motherboard and it had a 24 pin power thingy, my power supply was only a 20 pin. After looking at my manual it said I was able to do that if I aligned them a specific way. After that PC turns on, the lights turn on, hard drives turn on, and everything else. the thing is the screen stays black and says no signal.I was looking on the motherboard and there is a 4 pin ATX12V1, but there is no such cable that comes out of my power supply. I think the reason the screen stays blank is because it said that was used to power the CPU. What can I do since I do not have a ATX12V1 cable that connects to my motherboard?The only cables that come out of my pwr supply are for the IDE and floppy.

- Q: So my aunt gave me an old NES, but all she had was the system itself and a few games. She didn't have any of the wires. Luckily I found this retro game store near me and bought a few cables that I thought was all I needed (The power cable so it would actually turn on and the audio video cord) but apparently I need something else? I'm not quite sure.....Does my NES just not work? The red light comes on when ever I press the power button but there is no picture on the screen! Is there something I'm missing? Did I put something in wrong??? There is another spot in the back for another wire but I don't know what it is. Any help would be awesome.
- you would need to tune it in put it on a channel and do a channel search that's what we had to do before hdmi and scart cables
- Q: Basically i want to add another ssd using a power splitter cable, however i was wondering if you could use the power splitter cable with the optical drive instead of with the current hard drive, (im asking this as there's no room to place the ssd drive close to the hard drive)Thanks

- Q: my power cord on my laptop is acting up to the point where I have to literally hold it in place to have it charge the battery and now the computer isn't coming on- the battery light is showing up when you push the power button but i don't know if it is charging-if there is anything you can tell me to fix this, that would be great!!
- My power cable was having a problem too. What I did was just go out and get another cable because it seems that it is either your battery, or your power cable. So just go out get it replaced and Wala! It should work again...
- Q: Trying to troubleshoot my computer I have been unplugging and replugging wires. After a while of looking around I have found that the ATX power connector is missing a part of the pin. Now my computer is unable to boot. Is there a way to fix it. Or am I stuck going to get to a new computer.
- are u talking about the 4 pin connectors on the power supply if so there should be more then 1 and interchangehable. if your talking about the pins on the ide cable slot on the board then u might be able too straighten them with tiny needle nose pliers or jewelers screw driver but be very careful u break a pin the board is done.if u can maybe be more specific ill try too help!!!!!!!!!!
