- Q: I have time warner cable and a marantz rc 5400 and for some reason I can't control the volume with the remote or turn of the cable box (the tv turns off but you can still hear the audio, so I have to get up and turn the box off manually). How do I fix this?
- So what can you do

- Q: I purchased a USB Aux cable adapter for my 2009 Hyundai Elantra and it works as described - displays the song name on the stereo screen, and I can select a particular category like Playlists or Artists and then the respective sub-categories (specific artist, album, song). However, navigating through my iPod's music via the stereo controls (scrolling through artists by turning the Tune knob, for one) can be a bit tedious, especially while I'm driving. If it'seven possible, how can I connect my iPod to the car stereo but still control the music using the iPod itself? Scrolling on the iPod would be much faster. By the way, I'm using a 6th gen iPod classic (80GB).
- A couple of options If using a standard aux cord you can simply plug your ipod in through the headphone port, and select your song and playlist through your ipod. You have full control over your ipod. If using the factory hyundai aux/usb cable. It has a usb and aux (pressed together) that you put into the ports of the elantra. Then the extension is to be plugged into the bottom of your ipod. You have minimal control over your ipod in hand. All you will be able to do with this is to select a playlist, and plug it in. My suggestion if you are using the oem hyundai aux/usb that I'm talking about. Is to go out and buy a normal aux cable. Its a 3.5 to 3.5mm jack. That way you will have control over your ipod, but you will not be able to skip the track through the stereo, and Steering wheel controls(if equipped) However. It's all in control with your phone like you want. Good luck!
- Q: I have a 2000 civic ex d16y8 SOHC. i have skunk 2 megapower rr exhaust. catback i have a garret t3 turbo wit a greddy bov and greddy intercooler kit i have the whole turbo setupo/. my car has about 142,000 miles i want to rebuild my engine but i want to have a higher boost like i want my sohc to at least maintain more than 10psi and my engine not being at risk to blowing up. or more if better. i have aem fuel rail . eclipse injectors fuel pump chipped hondata ecu turbo timer boost control wat can i do to my engine? and what measurements? also around what brand? also i want a brand thats good but not to expensive like an averqage middle class parts arouind how much would i spend?what difference between cable or hydro tranny? and how can u find out which one u have?
- your not wanting very much so really you just need to rebuild it with stock parts and low compression pistons unless you want to go all out and get forged parts and raise the boost and you have a hydro tranny they are a little bit better at holding together when it comes to slamming your gears which you shouldn but they can handle it.3000 are you serious he just said he has a turbo kit and he is running 10 psi wow go play with a mustang
- Q: Are they wires or electronic?
- Both. Back in the old days (about 15 years ago), all outboard remote controls where mechanical- cables controlling shift, throttle, and steering. Nowadays, most smaller outboards still use this system, while larger outboards use drive by wire systems either as standard equipment or optional. Drive by wire is a system of sensors and servos which transmit control movements from the helm to the outboard via electrical signals. Mercury marine calls their system SmartCraft DTS, Yamaha calls theirs Command Link, etc.
- Q: Hi! I bought a Samsung Smart TV and would like to be able to change the channels with the Samsung Remote Control. My TV provider is Comcast/XFinity. I don't have a clue on how to make that the Samsung remote controls the cable box. Please help, thanks.

- Q: If I hook my my tv with composite cables I can control the volume through the DVR box but not with the HDMI cable. Why?
- Composite cables are controlling analog audio, Since the HDMI cable is digital it cannot control the analog audio, hence the HDTV is the only way to adjust the volume when connected via HDMI. It's kind of a toss up, sacrifice picture quality for volume control via DVR remote, or use two remotes. or you could spend some money and get a moderate to high end universal remote like a Logitech Harmony One. Another possible solution would be to hook up via Component connection if available. That way you can adjust volume via DVR remote without sacrificing picture quality since component, DVI and HDMI quality are all comparable.
- Q: I'm curious about the technicality of an Auxiliary Cable. - The bandwidth ? - Is it compressed or loss less sound?- Why is it so universal?- How many channels? I'm guessing 2?Let me know I'm very intrigued about this surprise I cannot find anything online. Thanks.
- an aux cable is generally a 3.5mm outlet/cable its capable of actually 3 channels, so it can transmit 2 channels (stereo) and receive a signal for controlling functions from things like iPods to control volume and such.
- Q: I asked this question yesterday, but can't find it now. I have the owners manual but it refers to the shop manual for instructions on how to adjust the auger cable. Thanks!
- follow cable to where it attaches to the auger control, there should be a small screw holding the cable tight, push or pull the lever, to move it some. loosen the screw move the lever to add or subtract cable Thur the holding screw, tighten
- Q: I pressed the power button and in the process I think I accidently pressed the button that controlled the cable box, so the box went off instead of the TV, then I turned the TV off, I turned it back on, and it wouldn't work anymore, all I see is static, if someone knows what is wrong, PLEASE help me out.
- Turn the cable box on by pressing power botton on the cable box.
