Control Cable
Introduction
Control cable include PVC and XLPE insulated control cable, flame-retardant control cable and high-temperature resistance control cable. The control cable is mainly designed for controlling, monitoring circuit and protective lines with AC rated voltage U0/U of 450/750V and below. It is used to interconnect electric advices and instruments between electrical equipment.
Characteristics
1. Power frequency rated voltage Uo/U :450/750V or 0.6/1KV
2. The permissible long-term maximum working temperature of the cable conductor is 70 ℃.
3.Cable laying ambient temperature should not be less than 0 ℃, if the ambient temperature is below 0 ℃, the cable should be preheated.
4.The recommended bending radius for cables is as follows:
No armored cable, should not be less than 6 times the cable diameter;
Armored or copper tape shielded cable, should not be less than 12 times the cable diameter;
Shielded flexible cable, not less than 6 times the cable diameter.

- Q: I have Time Warner cable, Internet and phone service. I just got notice they are going to charge me a monthly fee of $6 to use their equipment. My question is:Can I buy a Modem of my own for use with my Time Warner Cable, Internet and phone service? I notice they sell modems on OKorder, but will they also work with the digital phone service?
- Yes you can purchase your own modem. If you check the support page at TW you should be able to find a list of compatible telephony modems. Note there will probably need to be some setup required.
- Q: I know that it will pollute more, and can damage the kat if is out for long times. but i'm having some problems and i believe it's the EGR. It' a bit oily around the EGR valve, i just removed the electric cable from it. Is it closed now? can it be still open?(I have a 2004 mitsubishi carisma, 1.9diesel engine)
- electric cable? you mean the harness EGR connector? for the valve? solenoid? why would you disconnect it? it is a deisel, ok made by renault. Vovlo uses it as well. you should test it. there is probably ohm specs in manual.
- Q: I'd like to put this motor on my 13' Whaler. Is this very difficult and/or expensive? The motor has only the tiller controls. I have experience with OMC outboards only, so the Merc is all new to me.
- Yes this can be done. Like the other post stated it is fairly expensive. I helped a friend install and rig everything and it works great. Go through the Manufacture using the model number of your motor to find the correct parts that you will need. Then go to a dealership or aftermarket seller to save money purchasing what you need. Invite a friend over for the day to help you install everything, you will need an extra set of hands.
- Q: The difference between power cable and control cable
- The biggest difference is that the power cable diameter is significantly greater than the control cable. Power cables are usually four-core, or five-core, the control cable is often more than ten cores.
- Q: Hello, I have a flat panel tv and need to install my cable box behind it. However, if I do this the remote will not work because the cable box is hidden behind the tv. Is there anything I could do? Some kind of remote signal Amplifier? or some thing to bounce the remote signalor maybe some kind of a attachable remote signal eye that I can plug into the cable box? any idea?thanks
- Infrared and blutooth my friend
- Q: I have cable with a cable box that is currently connected to my TV. I would like to put an android box between the cable box and the TV so I can control what to feed the TV from the android box. I don't mind using the cable box to change channels but if there's a way to also change channels it would be great. Basically I want to be able to change the content of the TV from cable box to kodi and vice versa for example. Is that doable? If so how.?Much appreciated! First time posting!
- Bob is correct - most media streamers do NOT accept HDMI from outside sources to pass through to the TV. You usually connect the android box to a separate input on the TV and use the remote to switch between inputs. If you do not have a spare input on the TV - a HDMI switch works well.
- Q: I'm curious about the technicality of an Auxiliary Cable. - The bandwidth ? - Is it compressed or loss less sound?- Why is it so universal?- How many channels? I'm guessing 2?Let me know I'm very intrigued about this surprise I cannot find anything online. Thanks.
- an aux cable is generally a 3.5mm outlet/cable its capable of actually 3 channels, so it can transmit 2 channels (stereo) and receive a signal for controlling functions from things like iPods to control volume and such.
- Q: I have a Dish Network receiver that controls 2 different TVs through my cable-wired home. However, I would like to watch TV in another room without getting another receiver. I don't care if I have to watch the same thing that's on another TV (I have the remote that works through walls). All of the cable wires enter the house from a box on the outside of my house, but only 2 of them have the needed coax ends on them. This box is also where the Dish enters the home. I tried splitting it out there but had no luck! What are my options? Do I need special attachments for the cable jack in the wall, etc? Please use layman terms because I'm new to this! Thanks in advance!
- I'm an ex DTV installer but as far as I know, it installs the same way. Satellite signal can only be split after the receiver when you don't want to add an extra receiver. On the back of the receiver you have an out to TV plug. Undo the cable that is there and attach a 1-2 splitter to its end. The 1 side is toward the receiver and the 2 side is toward the TV sets. Now, attach the shortest cable possible between the splitter and the receiver. You should be back where you started from. At this point, all you have to do is attach a new cable to the open plug on the 2 side of the splitter and also to the extra TV you want to hook up. Your done. If you want to use the outside box for your connection, run that new cable from the splitter to the box and connect to the cable going to the new TV set with a barrel connector (available at Lowe's, Home Depot and Radio Shack). But you say the extra cables in your box don't have fittings (ends) so you would have to install one and for that you need a special tool The third way of doing this is to grab a satellite or cable installer and offer him $20 to make the connection for you.
- Q: i recently got guitar rig and i run it through fruity loops using a usb interface to connect my guitar. i want to be able to control the pedals like wah wah but im not sure what to buy. is there a type of pedal made for this. can i use a sustain pedal?on my interface there is a foot switch input. would it go there?and last how would i get guitar rig to read it?thanks
- Everything in Guitar Rig can be controlled through standard MIDI. Any MIDI CC foot controller will work just fine. They are commonly marketed as expression pedals. They should hook up with either a single 1/4 jack or a standard 5-pin MIDI cable. Guitar Rig has a learn feature, where you can click on a parameter, adjust a MIDI controller, and that controller will be automatically mapped to that parameter. Read the Guitar Rig manual for more detailed instructions on how to do this (seriously, nobody ever reads the manuals any more).
- Q: I have a Yamaha amplifier/tuner, a pioneer 300 disc CD player, a Tivo (first generation) DVR, 47 Samsung HDTV, Sansui DVD/VCR Player, Comcast digital Cable Box (Motorola?) and a Microsoft Media Center Receiver. I've tried several do all remotes but there is always something that it won't control. I know there are real expensive (Sony? at $300 to $500) remotes but I think that just too much for a do all remote.
