Q: than cleaning it at home with my own carpet cleaning machine? For example I have a stain on my carpet in my living room. When I clean it, it looks clean....but a few weeks later it pops up again....if I hire professionals will it come up?: Maybe this will helps..

Q: What material does carpet buy better?: Propylene is a synthetic fiber, which is lighter than wool, has good moisture retention and feels like wool. It is difficult to burn after nonflammable treatment. The elasticity of propylene fiber is slightly better than wool, but better than nylon. Acrylic carpet is also resistant to acid and alkali and corrosion resistance and the price is lower than that of wool carpet. As a result, families now use acrylic carpets a lot.

What do you think?: Your point is valid about vacuuming area rugs, but i feel that it is less work to vacuum one small rug and clean one large wood floor than to keep a large carpeted area clean. Stains on carpets are a nuisance as well. I prefer carpet in the bedrooms, regardless of the maintenance because i don't like getting out of bed and stepping on a cold floor. Hard floors are ideal for any other part of the house.

Q: How would you carpet your walls?: Carpet as wallcovering ?? It would look like a padded cell - the Safari Room at a mental institution ? ( Just kidding ) I would like to suggest a few alternatives. The first being trying to source out that print in a wallpaper. I am absolutely certain it exists somewhere, try the internet. Carpet on a wall is too heavy looking and, retro. Carpet in that pattern in particular, would be way too overbearing in Iarge amounts. I would rather see you work with a fabric in that pattern, on your walls. But treat it as a large, flat panel and hang it at the head of the bed on dowels. You could also hang it against the wall and tie it back at the head of the bed framing the headboard and centering an African art print in the middle. You could cut the fabric in a psuedo pelt shape, mount it on stiff board and hang it as a skin. Keep the carpet on the floor as a smaller matching area rug. Mix in faux zebra print cushions or throws. Paint your walls in rich sand and brown tones and consider black bedroom furniture. So, go ahead and use that print, but don't assault your senses with it in carpet on the walls. Mix it up in small quantities with similarly inspired prints and colours for a more refined, finished look. Have fun !

Q: How to prevent the carpet from shedding wool?: shedding wool is inevitable, you can buy a new one or stick the wool with scotch tape.

Q: We had some pee spots on our area rug while house breaking our dog. We rented a rug doctor steam cleaner and cleaned our rug but now I can smell dog pee just sitting on the couch. I can assure you we were very thorough in cleaning this rug; went over the area many times using over half a bottle of solution then ran just water several times to get up all remaining soap. I can understand that it seems we have loosened and spread around the pee, but if doing a through job with a steam cleaner doesn't work, what else can I do? Now I couldn't even spot treat since it is all over now. I would assume the pee is up but the odor remains. There is no carpet pad under this rug which I know can be the problem with carpet. This rug is only 6 months old, how can I save it?!: Rug okorder / ... I'll bet that rascal went in a place you didn't suspect or went recently.
