Q: I have a square dining table in a long rectangular room
Hi, okorder /
Q: A piece of paper caught on fire, fell on the carpet, I put the fire out and it burned the carpet and the paper melted into the carpet. Using soap and alcohol, I got rid of most of the blackness, but the parts where it's actually burned is still black. How can I get rid of this mark? Would using bleach work?
409 Carpet Cleaner. Don't use bleach.
Q: i have two ponies,, [its winter here]the Arab x welsh dosint care Ive only had her a little while i introduced rugs to her, but she defently seams more comfy wearing one and not as tired because she dosint have to bother keeping herself warm [shes in bad shape slowly gaining weight :)]and my shetland pony has been known for her rug fights :D she was an rescue loves her rugs very funny, she has a zillion rugs all for her :) even tough summer she will fight me for the rugs, she will grab onto it with her teeth and play tug of war [i dont tend to pull i wait until she's giving up]i really shouldn't of introduced rugs to her but she loves them :) she wont rip her rugs takes extra special care when going tough the gate entirely different when i put a saddle on gt;.gt;what about your horses?
I have 3 T.W. mares. two dislikes them. but my youngest thinks she pretty looks forward to having hers on!
Q: how many time will it go around the world?
it depends upon how many rugs we have.~!
Q: Would you please tell me how to connect the floor tiles with the carpet?
So it's better not to transfer directly. Of course, the method of direct connection is also available. Because the carpet will be in the carpet around a circle on the carpet, barbed bar, all small nails, you can hook the carpet, and after the workers to deal with, the carpet will not expose the edge of the outside.
Q: Our carpet in our apartment is starting to fray and my 8mo old likes to pick at the strings and pull them up and I'm afraid she's going to destroy it so I want to buy a rug for that area. We're on a really tight budget so I want to buy a used one, but I don't trust that it will be clean knowing it'll probably end up in her mouth eventually. How would you wash one and would it be cost effective vs just buying new?
fraying carpet should be replaced. You should contact ur landlord to fix it. You shouldn't have to pay a dime That is why people rent.Throw in that u r afraid the baby will get the fibers in his.her mouth and that would not be good.A light may go off in the landlords head....lawsuit? fraying carpet is not acceptable in an apartment
Q: a girl wants to buy a rug for a room that is 21 ft wide and 22 ft long. she wants to leave a uniform strip of floor around the rug. she can afford to buy 132 square feet of carpeting. what dimensions should the rug have? how many ft?
In order for the strip of floor to be even around the rug, the length of the rug must be 1 ft longer than its width (to match the floor). So, here's what we know: W = x L = x + 1 A = 132 (area) Just write an equation for Area. LW = A Plug in your numbers x(x + 1) = 132 x^2 + x = 132 x^2 + x = 121 + 11 x^2 + x = 11^2 + 11 x = 11 Therefore: Width = 11 Length = 12
Q: I could always send it out to a dry cleaner or a rug specialist, but I'd rather save the money and do it at home.
Sprinkle something absorbant (like baking soda) on oil. arise as a brilliant number of the grease as a possibility, the use a delicate detergent like palmolive dishsoap to bathe. you additionally can use a form of carpet cleaners, merely make certain you do the colorfast try first. solid success!
Q: I have a new rug, 6 months old at this point, that constantly sheds. There's 'rug dust' all over the house. It sticks to my daughters feet and even ends up in her diapers. Does anyone have suggestions on how to minimize this problem. We love the rug and do not want to get rid of it.
I would take it to a rug cleaner and let them clean residual rug fuzzies out to their best ability. Some rugs will shed even after having this done, but this will eliminate a lot of the fuzzies. Vacuum frequently, daily for a while.
Q: My carpet has a mystery stain. It's very sticky and black and ground in. I have tried goo gown and soap and water. I need some sort of heavy duty carpet cleaning suggestions.
Hello, Adding soap to the sticky and black ground in mystery stain is just making it worse. You are adding a surfactant (Soap) that gets sticky when it dries. You need to find out if the stain is a oil ( like food dropped ) or sugars like soda pop. First thing you want to do is get rid of the soap residue. If you have a wet dry vac. Get club soda and pour it onto the stick black ground in mystery stain. Use a soft shoe brush and start brushing the stain. If it is turning foamy you have to get DEFOAMER. Spray it on the carpet till you do not get any foam on your brush. (It cuts soap bonds so you can get the soap residue off the carpet). Keep adding club soda. Extract the club soda from the carpet. The black and sticky should start to go away. You should be left with just the original stain, or it should be gone. If you have no foamy residue and it still is sticky you need a solvent because it is an oil based spot. I don't know where you live but if you look in your local yellow pages for Carpet Cleaning Supply stores you can get Defoamer and Solvents to clean the carpets. BE CAREFUL WITH THE SOLVENTS USE AS LITTLE OF THE SOLVENT AS POSSIBLE. IT CAN DELAMINATE THE CARPET IF YOU USE TOO MUCH. (seprate the carpet backing from the fiber) Solvents will desolve glue.
