Q: What is brushed the carpet
The carpet tufting carpet, carpet and velveteen Velour carpet;
Q: that keeps shedding. it's a wool rug and I love it, but I just bought it and it shed shed sheds all over the place. What to do to stop the shedding.....or will it just continue forever?
Spray the rug with a static protector spray from time to time .
Q: What about the Muenster carpet?
The difference between the two carpets in the mode of production is:Wilton is a cashmere yarn woven into the organization and then cut pile carpet made of cut or uncut ring made of carpet;While Muenster is referring to the method of knitting an oriental carpet, with mechanical methods cashmere yarn first cut into the specified length, the consolidation method of U "or" J "shape of the cut to the carpet warp between the buried layer, then the weft to be fixed, so the drag on the back will not sink yarn the carpet.
Q: ok so i'm entering a competition to win a horse rug and am not sure how the sizing works. as a rough guide only, i need to know what size rug goes on what size horse (e.g. 15hh horse needs size _' _quot;). thanks :)

Q: How to clean up the carpet?
Take it to the laundry, because they have professional cleaning methods
Q: Are they really washable? does it mean machine washable or hand scrub washable? thanks
If they fit in the machine than i guess they are machine washable if not then hand scrub, i think it just means you can get them soaking wet and they wont be damaged so if you wanted to wash them you can, however way you do it
Q: We've lived in our house for almost two years and have the most annoying rug in the living room. It sheds constantly and it's like having a pet! I'm getting really sick of it as don't like putting my baby son down on the floor to play as he ends up covered in white fibres and if they get on his hands, they're in his mouth! No amount of vacuuming seems to help. I'm thinking about getting a new rug, but worried about spending a fortune only to have the same problem again! Does anyone know any types of rug that won't shed? I've read that wool ones are the worst... any general rug advice appreciated!!!
As noted by others: good diet. I do not agree with other comments that say it is normal to shed all the time. Spitz breeds have a double coat, they should be shedding in spring and fall, to prepare for different seasons. To shorten the shedding period, give a warmish bath (not TOO warm) to loosen hair and dry using a force dryer. If you don't have a force dryer, go to a grooming shop. Do NOT use a human hair dryer, it is only going to dry his skin. The force dryer blasts the water and loose hair out. Once that is done, prepare yourself for about an hour of brushing. Use a teflon coated rake (single line, short teeth). I like to finish with a Zoom Groom (rubber fingers). I HATE furminators - they are a razor with a handle - they cut the hair off, they do not remove from the root (which is what shedding is all about - total loss of the entire hair shaft). Once you do this big groom, weekly brushing should be sufficient. You will always have to vaccuum, but it shouldn't need to be a daily thing.
Q: My Condo is 624 sq.ft., and I plan to remodel, and remove old carpet flooring, and replace.
Firstly i dont know how they can justify selling them to you, they sound tight. A carpet has a five year life span,(this is a general guideline) so i would find out how long they have been in there, and they cannot charge you for this time while they have been in there as you were not occupying the property, and they cannot expect you to pay the same amount as it would for you to recarpet the whole property. say they have been in thier three years, this would mean the carpets have a two year life left. i suggest going to a carpet shop with the measurements and getting a quote and then divide that by five, and if they have been in there 3 years offer them 2/5ths of the price the carpet shop quote you. the reason i am saying do it like this is because i work in a letting/estate agents, and this is how we resolve issues with security deposits if the landlord wants to claim for carpet damages. Hope it heps you
Q: ive got 2 rugs in my kitchen i need to wash but they have a rubber back and im worried if i put them in the washier the rubber will wear off. last time i washed my fathers rugs for him the rubber started to come off in small chunks (it was also the first time they had ever been washed) and i dont want the same to happen to mine. im not worried about drying them id just lay them outside on the porch rail and let them air dry. does anyone have any suggestions? if i hand wash them will they get just as clean as if they were washed in the washer?
go to the landury two times
Q: Heyy me and my roommates are thowing a huge going back to school party but we are trying to keep our carpet as clean as possible (almost impossible i know). Were going to have a couple hundred people coming in and out. Is there anything that people know about that could protect the carpet from serious damage and spills? Budget is also a factor, so he cheaper the better! Thankss
Okay, I know you're not going to like this but, here goes... The only thing that I have ever seen work in an environment that you and your friends are about to put carpet through were custom fit quarter inch masonite panels which were duct taped to the baseboards and thresholds. And this is on construction sites with fewer people who are very mindful of other peoples work. It's hard enough to walk on a solid surface when drunk let alone a carpet covered with plastic, paper and/or cloth. If you do have a spill, more than likely, no one would know about it until the next day when the covering is removed. You would have a lot less food and drink spilled if you were to leave the carpet uncovered. That said..... Resign yourself to the possibility (probability) that you'll have to have the carpet professionally cleaned . How do you pay for that? Your guests can ante up a couple of bucks each as a cover charge. It's a pittance compared to tuition fees. Another way to look at it is, if you are renting and have placed a security deposit with your landlord and decide not to do anything about a stained carpet, how frugal do you think he or she will be with your money when contracting a carpet cleaner? Not! The way the economy is now you can probably get a pretty good deal. So get busy. Oh, and while getting your prices, you might want to ask which stains are the most difficult to remove. I know that candle wax is a tough one. One last thought. You may know or know of someone who has a carpet cleaner. See if you can borrow it for the evening. Have it set up and ready to go should there be an accident. I'd loan you mine but I'm over 30 and can't be trusted. Have fun and I hope I didn't sound too much like your father.
