1.Structure of Galvanized Iron Wire Descrildn

‍‍Galvanized Iron Wire is made with choice mild steel, through wire drawing, wire galvanizing and other processes. Galvanized iron wire has the characteristics of thick zinc coating, good corrosion resistance, firm zinc coating, etc‍. Galvanzied Iron wire can be divided into electro galvanized iron wire and Hot dipped galvanized iron wireaccording to different of zinc coating process.

Galvanized Iron Wire can be supplied in the form of coil wire, spool wire or further processed into straightened cut wire or U type wire. It is is also known as electric galvanized iron wire or galvanized steel wire. We produces electric galvanized wire at diameter ranging from 0.14mm to 5.0mm, which can be supplied in the form of coils, spools, U type wire or straightened and cut into tie wire. Electric Galvanized Iron Wire we produce usually goes through standard processes under careful control from steel rod coil, wire drawing, annealing, rust removing, acid washing, boiling, drying, zinc feeding to wire coiling.

Q: A horizontal current-carrying wire, free to move in Earth’s gravitational field, is suspended directly above a second, parallel, current-carrying wire. (a) In what direction is the current in the lower wire? (b) Can the upper wire be held in stable equilibrium due to the magnetic force of the lower wire? Explain.I assume they travel in opposite directions if they are both charged the same, but I think my instructor wants something more specific. Any help is much appreciated.
Current carrying wire does not have extra charge but only flow So there is no electrostatic force between them. The magnetic force is present only when current flows through both wires. If it flows in the same direction then they attract. So if the lower wire is fixed and you wish to suspend the above it must repel it to overcome the gravitational force due to earth acting on it. Hence the wires must carry currents in opposite direction.
Q: I want to install an LED and I need to splice into a wire. How exactly do you connect a new wire to an old wire? Do I cut it? Then what? Solder?
You can use a Scotch Block Electrical Connector, or Scotch-Lok if you put them on correctly you won't have any trouble with the connection, these are fast connectors. If they are going to be outside in the dirt and rain, heat shrink wrap them, you should really always do that but especially out in the weather.
Q: In MA. What type of wiring should I use, and do I need any type of protection for the wire.
UF cable 12/2. Get a spade shovel and dig it under ground 12 if it isnt under a driveway(column 4 of table 300.5 of the NEC). The only protection you need for this wire is 12 of dirt and pipe where it comes out of the ground. You will have to use pipe on the side of your house and between the ground and light fixture with schedule 80 PVC or other rigid conduit. Remember before you dig to get a ONE CALL or diggers hotline to check for other buried cables/pipes. They can also tell you how deep the wire is if one is in the area of work.
Q: How do I wire with reg 5 wire T-Stat Installing a 2 ton Goodman A/C cond unit to a old Carrier Heat pump AHU with emergency heat strip.
depends on the t stat look at the back for a better idea the wires should be collor coaded 2 for the heat and 2 more for the ac and maby 1 for a ground
Q: i need 175ft of 110 wire how much does it cost?
Most all of the wire used in an average home will carry 110 volts. If you're looking to install some new recepts or switches, then most likely #12 wire would work just fine. At 175', you're going to use most of a 250' roll, which is the way most residential wire is sold. A 250' roll will run about $35 - $40 depending on where you live and whether you buy it at a wholesale electrical supply house or a retail store. Buying the wire by the foot will most likely cost about the same as the price/ft. for cut wire goes up.
Q: The black wire is called ground but what is the red wire called?
There are standards for wire colours but they vary between countries and industries. When I grew up in the UK black was used for negative power and red for positive power (e.g. ground and +12V). But trailer wiring in Canada seems to use black for +12V, for instance. In a digital electronic circuit, using silicon semiconductors, ground or 0V is often abbreviated GND and the +ve power supply as Vcc.
Q: I got a ventilation fan for the bathroom. The fan has 2 wires and there are 2 wires sticking out of the wall. How do I know which wire connects to which wire? What would happen if I connect the wrong wires?
Of the two incoming wires, one should be white (neutral) and one should be black (hot or power). The bath fan should have a neutral and hot also. A wiring diagram can usually be found on the fan unit if a manual is not available. Simply wire the white/neutral to the neutral wire of the fan and do likewise for the hot wire. For safety modern fans make accommodations for the attachment of a ground wire. This provides a path to ground should there be a short in the unit. Hopefully there is a third wire from the wall that will provide a ground. It is usually bare and should be attached to the fan using a green ground screw. Older homes did not have the third ground wire but unless your home is from the fifties, you should have three wires. (If your electrical outlets accommodate three prong plugs, you have grounded wiring). If your bath fan is relatively inaccessible (on the ceiling) not having it grounded might not be that big of an issue but it is always better to ground the bath fan frame when possible. Again, if you have or can locate the manufacturers wiring diagram it should be followed.
Q: What is the difference between carbon fiber and wire heating?
Carbon fiber heat is not transmitted through the medium, but far infrared light radiation to the human body, the heat transfer directly to the human body tissues and organs
Q: What are some of the basic advantages of twisted pair wiring?
Lower noise due to inductively coupled current from interference sources, such as (say) a motor or AC power line. When a changing magnetic field is near a coil of wire, it induces a current in the wire. If that wire is your network cable, the current will be misinterpreted by the receiving NIC as voltage generated by the sender, which will cause packet corruption. With twisted pair wire, after a twist the magnetic field ends up creating a current in the opposite direction since the order of the wires has switched. Therefore, the current induced from adjacent twists of the wire ends up cancelling. (Assuming the magnetic field strength is consistent over the distance of 2 twists.)
Q: friend i want litz wire in this wire consits of group of enamled coted copper wire(like machine winding wire with multi lead wire),so i want types different guages(that each lead in wiretotal wire guage) and no of leadds.my pupose is for project wire for with standing wire capcity of 20amp's. please give information............................
