- too bad you don't live in Minnesota! here you can ride one down the side of the road just like it were a mountain-bike or 10-speed. The funniest part is .you only need to be 12 years and older. The one catch is, when making left turns you are supposed to walk it (just go slowly) accross in the crosswalks. You don't need a license or anything else though.
