- Q: ok i just bought a 96 honda cbr 600cc f3, it needs a back tire bad and could use a front tire but i dont need it right away, the back tire size is 160/60R17 its a sportmax (D220 ST)(made by dunlop i think) the front tire is 120/60R17, my question is what should i do i want to get my back tire done and can find tires way cheaper online then the 180 dollar the shop i called had, but i dont want to get some really **** tire, at the same time im looking to save money. so give me some advice on what to do as this is my first bike.
- try motosport, rocky mountain, or dennis kirk. Motosport had the fastest shipping and best customer service.
- Q: What size tires (front and rear) will fit on my 1980 Suzuki GS 550L Motorcycle?
- extremely tough thing. seek on to bing and yahoo. that will may help!
- Q: 2008 yamaha v star classic
- No. 1) it won't fit unless you get a custom rim. 2) it has a flat surface touching the ground. To lean a motorcycle, you need a rounded tire. So getting a car tire would mean you can no longer turn by leaning, so your turning radius and turning speed will be massively reduced. 3) a car tire is made of a hard rubber to make them last 70000 miles. A motorcycle tire is made of much softer rubber so that it grips the road. Using a car tire would cut your acceleration because if you gun it, the tire will just spin. Worse, if you slam on the brakes, there is a good chance that the tires would skid and that's a wreak.
- Q: how do the motorcycles not just fall over when you try to turn? I know with modern tyres it helps but can they really prevent the motorcycle from falling over?
- advantage more horse power better fuel milage your engine breathes better disadvantage some smog shops will fail your smog test visual cuz of the intake so just make sure you put the stock intake back on before you smog your car
- Q: its a long body based motorcycle, big tires in the back . its not a chopper, its a sport bike i forgot the name of it and been looking for hours. i think it was a custom bike but it had a Kawasaki or Yamaha emblem on it
- Did it have a fairing (enclosing bodywork)? If not it might be a V Max. Not really a sports bike but it does have stupid power. www.google .uk/images?clientsa.
- Q: I have been riding for 2 years and can take on most black diamonds. I only ride a CRF150 and I plan on selling my trail bike, and purchasing a CBR250. How much are dirt bikes like full fledged motorcycles? And what are the main differences?
- You LAID AN EGG out of your WHAT?????????
- Q: i ride a 08 kawasaki vulcan 900 custom and i cant seem to find a white wall rear tire wider than 180mm . is there one out there?
- just get the fluid flushed out and a new caliper for the side that is locking up and see what happens.
- Q: I have a Harley Davidson Dyna Wide Glide and the tires are getting a little thin. I checked at the Harley shop and it was going to cost about $450.00 for a front and rear. Seemed a little steep. Any Ideas?
- Sometimes i think Harley dealers will abuse you just to see how badly they can stick it to rich ol' men. Anyway, to your question, I use CycleGear alot because they're about as cheap as you get and, if you order them in store, you don't pay shipping. Not sure if you want to mount the tire yourself or no but, if not, CycleGear will mount the tire (if the wheel is removed from the bike). I've bought tires online and taken them in to get mounted. When a mechanic sees you bring in a tire you bought online, you're likely to get poor service. I've even been charged extra because I didn't get the tire at their establishment. Recently I got a set of Pirellis for my bike at a place called the Flying Tire in Fort Worth. Drive in drive out, it set me back about $415. Not bad. Good luck finding the right deal man.
- Q: I mean some medicine or chemical i put in tyre and that chemical or medicine (powder or Liquid) react with air and block little whole or puncher in tyre for a little period. So i can reach the puncher shop easily? I listen from somebody that there are some spry‘s in market when we put that spry in the tyre that blocks the pin wholes in type for a plenty of time. And I listen from somebody that in past there was a powder in market when we insert it in the tyre somehow ( i have not got any information about how to put in this powder in tyre ) then the powder blocks the a little puncher whole and the remaining air still stay in there or you can put more air and you can go easily to the puncher shop.is this possible?
- human beings hate CM Punk in basic terms because they're a known fan and are identifying to purchase into the WWE. I mean, Punk is a heel, so maximum folk could hate him. It doesn't worry me in basic terms because CM Punk flourishes off it, so it in basic terms makes him more beneficial useful. And in spite of everything, he's doing his interest and he's doing it the in basic terms right contained in the WWE. CM Punk is a few distance from PG, he's volatile and edgy and he pushes barriers contained in the agency, behind the scenes and on demonstrate. Punk is making an attempt to regulate the agency and that i in my opinion believe for the more beneficial useful. yet on the top of the day, human beings hate Punk because of his personality, he's a heel, all of us is assume to hate him. human beings opt for Cena over Punk in basic terms because Cena remains recognized because the face of the agency. youngsters will continually favour Cena, in basic terms how this is.
- Q: The demand for motorcycle tires imported by Dixie Import-Export is 49,000/year and may be assumed to be uniform throughout the year. The cost of ordering a shipment of tires is $360, and the cost of storing each tire for a year is $2. Determine how many tires should be in each shipment if the ordering and storage costs are to be minimized. (Assume that each shipment arrives just as the previous one has been sold.)
- Suppose x tires are in each shipment. So in on year there will be 49000/x shipments and the cost will be 360(49000)/x storing cost will be 2x. So the total cost for x tires is 2x+[360(49000)/x] So C(x) 2x+[360(49000)/x]is to be min. C'(x) 2- [360(49000)/x^2]0 or x^2 180(49000) 9(490000)(2) x 3(700)rt2. I guess the numbers are not correct because x is not an integer. Please check numerical details. If th sotrage cost is $1/tire then the answer is x 2100 which makes sense!
