Horizontal Centrifugal Double Suction Water Pumpis used for transporting pure water (particles density shall be max.1%by volumeand granular size shall be max 0.1mm in dimeter) of the liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to pure water. Type MD pump is applied with wear resist material, especially suitable for mineral drainage. The particles density shall be max. 1.5% (Max. of the granular diameter is 0.5 mm).The liquid temperature ofD, MD pumps shall be lower than 80°C.

- Q: I want to put a water pump on a horse trough with the pump on the outside of the fence. There is a hose attachement at the bottom of the trough for the intake. I want to have the outake hook back to fall into the top of the water, reducing algae and eliminating mosquito larvae. I have never used a pump before. Need advice on type, size, etc. Thanks!
- A 12 volt water feature pump from a garden center would do the job. Four litres a minute with a shower head on the end going into the trough should give the aeration you need. The head off a plastic watering can would also do.

- If you connect two pumps in series and not parallel the pressure will increase but you need to have them connected so if the well stops running the other does also.

- Q: Hello, I'm having an issue with grinding/metallic noise from engine bay. Alternator was replaced today and didn't fix. However, when I got the car back from the garage the oil level indicator is saying quot;inactivequot;. I seem to find some answers on the web that say the oil level indicator is in some way connected to the water pump. Car has 95k miles on and I doubt it had been changed. Could this be the cause of the noise? And could anyone possibly tell me which pulley it is on the belt? Many thanks for your time :)
- Alternator replaced? Will you be getting credit back for that? Anyway, at 95k it's almost about time to do a full preventive maintenance thing. That includes the water pump, belts, radiator hoses, I would do the tensioner and idle pulley too since one is there already. Would replace the radiator expansion tank too. Change the spark plug and valve cover gasket too while you are at it. The spark plug can be done separately, but it's time to replace them.
- Q: Okay my well water pump keeps turning on and off, i can hear it click on and off. Then the water stops running completely! What is wrong with it?? It has been doing this since last night.
- Because water does not compress and air does when working properly your storage tank is largely filled with air until water coming in compresses it to around 60 psi then switch cuts out pump and then as it is used water drops pressure to around 30 psi then pump switch cuts in.. so it sounds like you have all water and no air in your tank making pressure shoot up immediately to 60 then shut off then drop to 30 then turn on all with in seconds or minutes whatever you have. Could be couple reasons as stated above tank should have air pressure even if it has no water in it
- Q: Yesterday my car was making squeaky noises in the front and then the fan came on FULL FORCE it sounded lik an airplane. It then started to over heat. I looked to see if there was any antifreeze/coolant in it and it was BONE DRY. I found out the water pump is bad. - Water pumps arent too bad to change. Just follow the hoses to the pump, should be connected to the sepentine belt. Your diagnosis seems to be correct,
- Q: I have just replaced the timing belts on my 94 Civic Si and my 00 Elantra GLS. Both were done at different shops, but i got the same hounding to replace the water pump when doing the belt. My Elantra has 66k and my Civic 85k and i know how important the timing belt is-especially with a negative clearance engine like the VTEC. previously, i've never been told to replace the waterpump with the timing belt til now. is this just a ruse to extort more money out of me, or is there some validity in what the guy behind the counter is saying??
- In these vehicles, the water pumps are located behind the timing belt. Remember that the MOST EXPENSIVE item on the timing belt replacement is the labor to do so. This being said, the shop is recommending the replace of the water pump you are already footing the bill for the LABOR to replace the belt and you want have that cost if/when the water pump goes out. Here's and example, let's say the timing belt replacement on your car came to a total of $250. The belt itself only cost $15 to $20, leaving the rest of the cost in associated gaskets and labor. If you don't replace the water pump and it fails, this time your cost will $300 with the difference in price being ONLY the difference in cost for the water pump and timing belt. It's not an absolute necessity to replace the WP when doing the TB, it is just a good idea! If your keeping the cars... change the WP... if not.. just the TB and sell it!
