Q: my job is making rug and i am a iranian person live in iran i wanna sell my rug and teaching making rugs: Persian rugs are big in the UK - focus on beautiful colour contrasts and bright colours. Q: my carpets are very dirty.: Professional cleaners have better equipment and will do a little better job (generally). If you do it yourself, you will save a lot of money, and it will be just about as good as a professional if you follow the directions. You might try doing it yourself, and if it is still dirty, hire a professional.

Q: SO my dog had bad diaheria and made a nasty nasty mess on the carpet in a few spots and it was just aweful so only thing i had was oxi clean so put oxiclean on the spots which were very large spots and now its super white in those spots which is better then poo but looks crazy... what can I do to make it look not as noticable? Only thing i could think of is get oxiclean and add it to water and steam clean the whole carpet and maybe it wont be as bad but that would take TON of oxiclean does anyone have any ideas?: put a lot of bleach in your steam cleaner, at least maby it will kind of even it up.

HELP: Carpet is pretty cheap....$2-$3 per square foot installed but look for a carpet cleaner who is going is use only Hot Water! You need a restorative process. Make sure the carpet cleaner doesn't use soaps or surfactants - they cause the carpet to rapidly resoil...... Get it clean and get the stains out....if you elect to replace go to Loews or .Home Depot ...they have a carpet that uses a new technology called Puraesque.....it can be done, just make sure you get pros instead of a bunch of nerdowells!

Q: We have rugs in our house that cover a large area because we have wooden floors. We have had them for a few years and there is a lot of dust that is sand colored that doesn't go away easily even with vacuuming. My mom thinks its just backing from the rug and it's normal. Were planning to get rid of them soon but is this dust/sand stuff really harmful to breathe in? It's been there for years but we don't move them around or anything.: It is a combination of dried backing and dust. I would suggest wearing a mask when you take them up. If you have dust allergies, it will certainly give you grief. Rugs not only need to be vacuumed on top, but should periodically be rolled up and vacuumed underneath as well, then the wood floor cleaned before putting the rugs back down.

Q: I keep a super clean litter box, sometimes she goes in it sometimes she doesn't. The bath rug is literally a foot away from her litter box. She's 1yrs old,fixed and is good behaved except for that. Ive washed the rugs, got new ones, tried different material rugs, everything... the rugs have all had rubber backing. I remember I had a rug w/ out the rubber backing I don't think she pee'd on that 1. Could it be the rubber or something? We moved a few months back could that be a reason?: There are so many reasons why she could be doing this, I have 3 cats and I went through this with one of mine a few years ago and now a different cat started doing it after I moved.(The other one stopped when I started covering the couch, his favorite place to pee, with aluminum foil when I wasn't home) Moving can be a big factor behind it, cats bond more with their homes than their owners so moving is a HUGE deal to them. I would have the vet rule out a urinary infection just to be safe, especially if she meows while going or you see any blood in it. Some cats just seem to like peeing on soft things rather than litter. That seems to be what is going on with my guy now, he never did it while living in my apartment, but he started peeing on dirty clothes and rugs about 2 months after I moved into a house, and I had thought he was the most adjusted one! If you catch her doing it, you can yell loudly or shake a pop can with a couple of pennies in it and it may sink in to her that you do not like what she is doing. So far I have not found a cure for my guy, other than I can no longer leave anything on the floor (rugs, clothes, towels, nothing). If I do, he pees on them within a few hours. It is very frustrating, my boyfriend is ready to get rid of him if it doesn't stop. Just a quick note, both of my boys were cleared of having any medical problems causing their peeing outside the litterbox
