- The ones I have found (online) have a rubber backing so they stay on the floor and don't move around much, so you don't have to connect them. But if you want to, they make really strong tape called carpet tape that you put on the underside of the squares. The good thing about not connecting them is that way you can pick one up and actually just rinse it in the sink if you spill on it. I stopped looking when I found out they would be too expensive for what I wanted (a large area), but you can get them from major places like Home Depot or Lowe's.
- Q: Recently I was sent a link to Yahoo answers from a client who was shocked to read the misinformation albeit well meaning answers to many questions about carpet dyeing. Carpet dyeing is a very specialized field and few have mastered the technology. I want to ask after the nay-sayers have read the correct information, if they have finally achieved the correct education to venture any kind of answer about carpet dyeing. Whether stain, spot, wrong color, outdated color, or simply color changes all can be done with perfection by a carpet dyeing expert. This is NOT a do-it-yourself type project for property owners. We have corrected many unsuccessful attempts by carpet owners and carpet cleaners who try to dye on their own. Please tell me you experience and I'll give you the correct answers. We have dyed millions of yards of carpets during the last 20 years in more than 200 locations in USA and 8 other countries. I just want people to know it is a viable option to carpet replacement.
- It my no longer be that straightforward. what's the carpet created from? maximum synthetics do no longer take dyes nicely so examine the content textile of the carpet. additionally bleach could desire to harm the backing and/or the padding below so examine that for harm. the ultimate answer could be getting a sprint that carpet, slicing out the spot and putting a clean piece in. you would be stunned how solid it could look. - I would always paint first, too hard to get paint from the carpet. If you have baseboard of any kind, that should come off. Paint down just below that area, lay the carpet, then put up the painted baseboard again.

- If you mean throw rugs, I only wash mine every six months or so. But it's just me and the hubby so they don't get dirty real fast.=)

- I don't know if it will work. Spray the carpet with hydrogen peroxide. Then think about dying the carpet back to beige.
- Q: so funny story haha. i was at softball practice last night at an indoor facility. The ground is made of an astroturf- carpet type material. the drill was to practice sliding on a piece of cardboard. i however slid a bit too early and skinned my thigh on the carpet/astroturf stuff.Now i have a giant burn thing about the size of my fist on my right thigh. It oozes constantly (which is extremely gross!) Last night i slept with it uncovered hoping it would dry up a bit, but it didn't. i taped a piece of medical gauze over it today for school, but it oozed right through! Also, when i went to take it off, the gauze was stuck right to it, and i had to yank it off hard, and it hurt soooo badd. i really don't want to have to do it again! Can someone please tell me how to make the pain go away (it burns!), make it dry up, and stop oozing? I've skinned myself before, but this is the worst one i've ever had.

- Q: I have dark brown (medium chocolate, I'd call it) warm modern style leather sofa and love seat in a white room with 10 foot ceilings (I can't paint). The floors are oak, as is one book case (modern lines, arts and crafts style detail). The feet of the sofa are a dark walnut color. The accent pieces in the room will be yellow hues (artwork, vase, throw pillows). What sort of area rug should I get? Colors, patterns? Links to examples would be awesome. I'm getting more furniture, but I think the rug could really warm up the room. I'm concerned about getting something that looks too country or contemporary against the modern lines of the furniture.
- you could get a rug with warm colors like the chocolate and yellows and reds with squares on it. That would look good. I would just look for something in the same colors that you already have.

- I dont know this rug but shoulder gussets are not needed to be a great fitting rug. I have lots that dont have the gussets and they fit better than some that I own that do have the gusset.
