Q: We want carpet installed in three bedrooms. I know they have the $139 special for installation, but how much extra is old carpet removal, haul away and to move the furniture out and then back in the rooms?Thanks!: My okorder and found a local guy with great reviews and we showed him what we wanted with samples, and he ordered it and placed it down, for about 1/2 of what the major store chains charged. No extra charge for removal. He did a wonderful job, and cleaned up after themselves. They also moved the furniture for us. :-)

Q: my doctor prescribed me this benzoyl peroxide gel for my face and i accidentally got a big glob of it on my rug. I went to clean it up with these red tissues and it started to turn my rug red! The next day, I put this carpet cleaner on it (one that has to sit for 15 minutes then you vacuum it) and it turned it orange!: Also if there are no scraps you may be able to go to a carpet store or Home Depot with a sample and get a remnant. You can also cut out a section from where it won't be noticed such as the back of a closet and then just switch the sections.

They also buy used 2nd hand - hand weaved rugs, and sell or exchange them for machine made or cheaper but brand new rugs. Then they take those 2nd hand rugs and have them repaired and they put much more expensive price tags on them. Sometimes they even find antiques. Everyone is happy. This been said, I don't know you well enough to offer your contact address to them, or them well enough to propose bu?siness with you. Sorry.

Q: I have a plain, off-white area rug that I want to dress up a little. I got the idea from a home improvement show where they used paint for the same purpose, but I don't remember the details such as what kind of paint they used or how they were able to completely cover the area desired without having the paint bleed into the rest of the rug. Anyone done this before? Tips?: It is going to cause the rug to be stiff and not feel good to walk on you should use dye. Put the dye in a squirt bottle one like what hair dye comes in and use a sheet of metal to separate the carpet and hold it in place while you dye and leave it there till you are done. Do it out side it will soak through the bottom. You can buy 2 strips of metal that is good to use at lowes and home dept.

Q: It is just a plain pink bathroom rug, that has like the rubber or whatever on the bottom. But it is dirty and needs cleaned, how can I do this??: Take to the laundry mat and wash in one of those tumble washers on cold or warm water setting. Dry in dryer but not on the hottest setting. If you dry on the hottest setting in the dryer the rubber backing could melt.
