- Its material can't be more common, so how can it not be washed?
- Q: Is there any easy and/or quick ways to get paint out of carpeting? We painted a bedroom this last weekend, but some paint leaked through the sheets and is on the floor now. Any ideas?
- I don't know of any product that will remove paint that has dried already. But they say the rug doctor that you can rent, will get out tough stains

- Dirt is one problem, pet urine, and pet feces is quite another. You can use a scrub brush on a worst places in the carpet, then rent a carpet cleaner to finish the job. If your carpet smells like animal urine, you will never get the odor out. Just rip up the carpet and thoroughly wash the floors underneath.

- It all depends on the source of the odor. If it is something like urine, rotting food or anything else organic, I recommend Nature's Miracle. The enzymes in it break it down and neutralize it. You can get it at pet supply stores. My second choice would be Odo-Ban. They sell this at Sam's. Just follow the directions for best results.

- If the rugs don't get a lot of wear, you don't need the protection service. The protection service charge essentially pays for most of another cleaning when you're ready to have them cleaned again. The deodorizer just leaves the house smelling ok, but it wears off. Skip the extras.

On the store website however I can only find the pricing of cases of 35 square feet and such. I only need roughly a three tile by three tile square. - well thats just standard practice to list the pricing per box... you should be able to purchase by the square(piece) Also might wanna try your local carpet store.carpet squares are typically more of a comercial grade carpet,so you could also look in the phone book under commercial flooring and talk them into selling some of their extras. hope that helped.anymore questions,feel free to ask. i have been a ceramic tile installer for 10 years and did my share of carpet too. jarod
