Q: Had safety inspection today. Mechanic started lifting car with out putting arms and lift pads out (center lift, arms form X under car). After driving car, couldn‘t turn wheel with out strong arming it. Got it in driveway, now leaking reddish fluid that has strong fish smell and serpentine belt has snapped. Whats going on? Could the improper lifting done this?
The master cylinder is the name of the reservoir that holds your brake fluid. In most cars this is located under the hood directly opposite where the driver sits.
Q: I once lifted a small car out of a ditch. I was younger.and stronger.but it was pretty cool.
sounds like you might have some oil on your pads or maybe your right caliper may be sticking?
Q: (I‘m referring to the ones that are provided with a new car purchase?
Some are more heavy duty than others, but I wouldn't trust more than 2,000-2,400lbs or so unless it IS beefier.
Q: the gas guage read full even though the tank was empty. what would you do?
Get in the tank and stuff something in the tank to make the floater rise, kinda like the tank on your toilet, the floater rises and the water stops re-filling the tank Good luck
Q: Okay so for football we have been lifting all summer I weigh around 130lbs and my lifts at the moment arebench- 155squat- 245dead lift- 335power clean- 165 but we after this one more week of lifting(mon-fri) we have a dead period for 10days and the first week we come back we will be doing max testings, so in this 10day period what can I do to keep my maxes stable or maybe even build them. I dont really have access to weight s to actually perform these lifts so are there any other ways to do this? If so let me know asap. we will also do 40yd dash testing, long shuttle, and short shuttle. But i think i can keep those up just be going for a daily run. Any help will work, thanks in advanced!
If you detect any leakage any time, keep clear of the raised lift. Bring it down as early as possible consistent with other condition.
Q: hi i am looking for the name of the part you put by your wheel to make your car taller i have a 20‘ rims on my car but my car was design for 18‘ so i wanna make it higher someone told me spring ( i am talking about the less expensive ones) just put it on your original spring and it makes it taller not the whole set just the less expensive ones. My car don‘t need to be lift that much higher by the way maybe the info might help. I am so lost on what the part name, i don‘t know how to ask about it. please help.
Rear air shocks? A jack? I didn't know you could drive from the back seat, sounds like you need thinner friends.

Q: I want to get my truck lifted but would it be less fuel economic(apart from the fact that it would be a bit heavier) like would the structure make it less fuel efficient?
yes it will, but to what extent depends on the lift size and tires you chose. best thing is to make sure you re gear the truck for the bigger tires.
