- you need bigger cables i think, as they heat up resistance gets higher, so the amp would not be getting enough power

- Q: The inside of my computer has a modular power supply that did not come with enough cables, and I have a graphics card that requires two 6 pin connections to the power supply. Luckily, my power supply has just enough open slots. The problem is that I can't find a place to buy a simple 6 pin cable. It needs to be about a foot long to reach. Can someone please help me? I would prefer newegg if possible, but I searched there and I'm getting pretty frustrated.
- Assuming that the power supply can power the card you need a molex to 6pin adapter. They sell them on newegg. You wont be able to buy a 6pin cable unless your power supply is modual meaning you can disconnect the wires from the PSU. Most power supply's you cant do this and the ones that do cost extra.
- Q: I have a slim PS2 and a PS1. Recently, my PS1 power cable had spoiled, and I don't know if the power supplied by the Slim PS2 cable is the same.. - There okorder /... 2. Buy new Power Supply at least 450 Watt. ( I suggest it because that graphics card requires a strong source of power) * if your Power Supply is powerful, sufficient only buy VGA Power Adapter ~hope it help~
- Q: I just bought a new motherboard and it had a 24 pin power thingy, my power supply was only a 20 pin. After looking at my manual it said I was able to do that if I aligned them a specific way. After that PC turns on, the lights turn on, hard drives turn on, and everything else. the thing is the screen stays black and says no signal.I was looking on the motherboard and there is a 4 pin ATX12V1, but there is no such cable that comes out of my power supply. I think the reason the screen stays blank is because it said that was used to power the CPU. What can I do since I do not have a ATX12V1 cable that connects to my motherboard?The only cables that come out of my pwr supply are for the IDE and floppy.
- Buy okorder for little to nothing depending on what you are looking for. Gaming and lighted ones are going to cost a little more but you should be able to pick one up cheap!!! Hopefully you bought the correct motherboard! But you are definitely going to have to have the correct power supply to feed the proper amount of power to your CPU! ;-)

- Q: Hi I purchased a Sony Bluray optical drive from Ebuyer (bad move),The drive showed up in a tackie box with no cables included, manuals etc. I plugged in a SATA cable in to the back but its not powering up, there is a slot for another connection but with no cables enclosed I am I right in saying the SATA cable should power the drive up as well?
- SATA data cables do not provide power you will need to plug in a proper SATA power cable. If your power supply does not have the proper connection you will need to get a Molex to SATA adapter. Here is the adapter you will need bit.ly/m5P4SW
- Q: What happen's when you just yank the power cord out from the electronic (Computer or TV) while it is still running? Does it blow a fuse or something? And what should I do to fix whatever the problem is, assumming that the electronic doesn't turn on after i yank the power cord out?
- Yanking a power cable out of a PC that's running, could lead to a voltage spike. This can fry your power supply, and possibly go further. (Motherboard, ram, graphics card) Same thing, with having a computer power cable plugged into a surge protector, and then plugging it into the power supply. YOU, can replace the components of a Personal Computer. It's too technical and dangerous to try it with a TV, unless you're a qualified tech, and have the required tools.
- Q: I have a ZXi8008 and there's a cable that goes out to the head unit to turn on the amplifier, which is different than the power cable. But in this car, i have not installed a new head unit. Where do I hook up this cable otherwise? It needs a constant power supply to be on.
- i would hook it up to the power cable from ur stero that whay the amp will only come on when the radio comes on. that way u wont drain ur battery, thats if ur talking about the remote cable
