I even took out the battery and just left it plugged in but still wouldn't turn on. Any suggestions on what the problem could be and how to solve it?

- SATA just pulls out.. actually so does molex connectors (for IDE drives).. just very tough sometimes to get them out. If its black and kinda thin, then its probably SATA and they should just pull straight out.
