- Electronic parts stores carry ribbon wires, but there are many different kinds of ribbon wires, and they would have to look at the wires in the dvd player to know what kind you need. The biggest problem with the wires is connecting them to the circuit boards. An electronics repair shop might have a piece of ribbon wire they can adapt to fit your player. .

- Why did you cut ANYTHING?! All you had to do is buy the aftermarket harness, connect it to your new radio and plug it in to the factory harness. I bet you cut the wires right at the harness too so you can't reconnect it. My guess would be you hooked up the dimmer wire and you don't need it. Go buy a harness anyway, it will tell you what the wires are.

- coils of wires always are magnetic (if there flows current trough them). the only use of such a coils besides as a magnet would be to deminish fluctuations, like in the fat piece of long usb cables. Else, its always magnetic
- Q: How do you attach light wires to boat trailer frame?
- There are a couple of safe ways to attach the wires. First is to run the wires through the inside of the frame rails. this protect the wires from abrasion and from being cut, pinched, or severed easily. The next best is to get a bunch of Electricians Zip Tie mounts. These have a sticky foot so that they can be mounted anywhere. Then you install small ZIP ties into the slots and form a loop. Run the wires through the loops to where you need them to go. Once you have the wires placed and connected, snug up the wires and clip off the extra ZIP tie and work toward the front of the trailer doing the same as the last. Once you reach the tongue of the trailer, be sure to leave plenty of wire for the connector plug to the tow vehicle (usually about 4' beyond the coupler). Then your done.

- Actually neutral wire remains at some constant voltage and change in direction of flow of current only occurs in live wire, the voltage live wire at any given time is measured wrt neutral wire, thus neural wire's only function is to provide a reference voltage as u may know voltage is relative, for example if ur home has 110V supply, the neutral wire will remain at some constant voltage all time but live wires voltage will change from plus110V to minus 110V very rapidly depending on frequency of supply....

- For frequencies up to about 100 megahertz, any kind of wire will work, but it will not look very professional if you use, multi conductor cable with all the conductors connected at both ends. Over 100 feet between supports, it may not be strong enough in a high wind. Above about 100 megahertz 1/4 inch steel wire may work well if it is copper plated = most of the current travels near the surface = skin effect. The antenna wire is possibly hard drawn for extra strength. The cable between the radio and the antenna needs to good quality if this is a long distance, even at less than 100 megahertz Neil

- Wired have a wire that connects the button near the door, the transformer, and the chime. When the button is pushed, the transformer energizes the chime, causing it to ring. You, or an electrician, must fish wires to a location where a transformer can get a constant supply of power, such as an outlet. There also need to be wires fished to the chime and the button. Wireless work with radio waves. Costs vary widely, depending on the setup you go with. Decent wireless units start around $35-40, and go up from there. New chimes for wired systems start around $8 and up. Transformers start at $10, buttons start around $5. Hope this helps.

- I'm sorry to tell you this but I have searched on several occasions for automobile wiring diagrams and have yet to find one. I don't think they post them on the web. IMO your best bet is a Chilton or Haynes manual for your vehicle. If someone does give you a good site I would be very appreciative if you would forward it to my profile.
