Q: At about 8-9 this morning. Now they are pretty dried at 1 pm. I wanted to now re-arrange the furniture, but how long should i wait? its pretty dried, but i was still wondering?
Trust me, a rug takes ages to dry completely. I am a rug manufacturer in Agra, India and we dry out a rug for 6-7 days in the sun before taking them inside. And that's when the sun in Agra shines at 47 - 48 Degree Celsius You should probably leave it out in the sun for 2-3 days more, since 2 days have already passed from posting of this question. It will not only dry out the rug but increase its longevity as well
Q: I'm buying a house and need to replace the carpet currently in it. I can't get an estimate on it until I close so I'm looking to get a ball park number. I need to replace about 800 sqft. What price am I looking at to get wood laminate put in verus mid-grade carpet. Thanks.
800 sq ft of mid grade carpet installed with better pad $2400 to $3000 800 sq ft of mid grade laminate installed with trim complete $4800 to $5500. If you do the work and install the laminate yourself about $2400 to $3500 for materials.
Q: how do you remove a moldy smell from carpet?
You can clean the carpet with the following process: 1) Vacuuming carpet for collection of all loose dirt particles. This step insures dirt and grime will not be ground into your carpet upon agitation. 2) Pre-spray application of our cleaning solution. The solution is applied evenly throughout the carpeted area. 3) Agitate the carpet. Agitating the carpet allows for the cleaning solution to really cleanse the carpet fibers. 4) Use hot water extraction with the equipment. The extraction allows for a deep thorough rinse of all carpet fibers. 5) Do some beautiful grooming of the carpet. Giving the carpet a newer appearance look.
Q: I wash my bathroom rugs 3 times a week, but then I also buy new ones about every 3 months. Am I washing mine too often? It seems to me I should wash them more often. What about the kitchen? I wash mine 2times a week.Am I weird, or dirty?
I wash my bathroom rugs once a week. The rest of my house including the kitchen is carpet. Your not weird or dirty. My daughter probably washes hers 3 or 4 times a week to.
Q: Dedusting carpet
The best choice is the box carpet, it's very convenient to clean up. It can also be spelled out the area you need in accordance with your own mind. The general carpet has a little bit of dust removal function.
Q: I am replacing carpet in my living room, hallway and 3 bedrooms. All with one kind of carpet. I am looking for something durable, stiff, non-furry so it's easy to maintain and resist stain. Almost every store we visited is selling different type of fabric. I am getting very confused. So far the fabric I've seen are nylon, smartstrand, BCF Strudon... anyone knows the difference?
Carpets and rugs enhance the beauty of homes or commercial spaces. Most commonly used fibers to make carpets are wool (warm and durable), silk (most exotic), jute, some synthetic fibers like nylon, polyester, olefin, and acrylic, out of which polyester is durable of all. Bamboo carpets and Coir carpets form a different range of eco-friendly carpets.
Q: Hello, I need to buy a big, squared burgundy rug (or in any dark red for that matter).I want to cover a room thats 16.6 x16.6 ft It would be fine if doesnt to cover the whole room, Im just looking for possibilities. Nothing fancy, its only to cover horrible flooring.Do you know any online stores that would sell them for a low price?BTW, Im willing to buy a used one and my budget is $400. Thank you!

Q: I have a 4 month old who's crawling and walking while holding onto things. Needless to say, he's 4 months old and falls flat on his face quite often and just pushes himself along face down with his legs for a few seconds before picking himself back up. So he's got a rug burn on his nose...Any treatments for a quick cure? Aloe Vera, maybe?
gotta love the first little baby bumps. no quick cures that i know of for rug burns, but some good lotion like aquaphor will help it heal and if you coat her nose with it before a crawling session it may act like a buffer lol. you could use neosporin so no scars, but i don't like putting that stuff on my babys face. my daughter gets the rug burns on her knees and elbows now that she is a little older. try getting her some babylegs to put over her legs (or arms if she'll let you) to prevent rug burns there. i have started making my own to match all her outfits lol. they're addicting! when it's hot here, i just let her crawl around with her dipe on and babylegs, nothing else. so they're usable in all weather. (best thing to use them for is the gap between the bottom of her pants and her socks when you put her in a carrier or stroller in the cold weather)
Q: How is the carpet cut, cut and cut the difference?
Cut flowers in general by the shearing machine from the top color wool roll of fabric to complete. As part of color and suede shearing at the top of the convex cut out, and some in color and suede shearing recess is not top has not been cut, and the formation of pattern texture prominent.
Q: we are trying to remove the old carpets in my house. you see last year, are air conditioner broke and leaked fluid all over the hallway carpet, and now we're trying to remove them. how do you do it with out ruining the floor below.
Simple!!! Take a sharp knife simply cut a small piece then have fun RIPPING it out!!!!!!
