Q:I own a 2000 Honda Accord. When I bought it (used), it came with 20 inch rims that I really love. The issue I have with them though is that sometimes when I make turns or have many people with me and a lot of added weight, the tire touches the car and sort of grinds. This is obviously not a good thing for my tires. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advise as to how I can lift the car a bit. I have looked up some car lift parts but have no idea how they work or how to choose the right one to raise my car about 1 to 2 inches. Thanks you for the help in advance!
My suggestion is if you can bend the fender a little bit then you can get rid of this problem.
Q:ive just had my brake pads changed all round and this clicking/knocking noise happend becase my car was lifted up, i no this because i lifted the car up to get under to do some work and its back please help!!!!!
lifting shouldnt have anything to do with the clicking should check brakes maybe they left something loose
Q:Suppose a car sitting on a hydraulic lift exerts a downward force of 1,750 N on a piston with an area of 0.6m2. How much pressure does the car exert on the piston?
Pressure Force / Area 1750 / 0.6
Q:ok I‘m getting a new car but I don‘t kow if I should get a 2001 Impala with 126,000 miles on it and it needs few tires but it‘s only 5,000! or a 2002 with low miles new tires and it cost 8,000. I really think I should get the cheaper one cause people tell me it‘s a really good deal! what do you think???
Get a quote on each one of them and find out exactly what the price is, then decide which is best Here's a good tool to check many prices using little time: comparecheap-motoring-insurance.i. and this is just as good: comparecheap-motoring-insurance.i. It won't cost anything to do, just take your time and it'll bring you some tangible results, soon you'll know exactly where you stand! Getting quotes is free, it just takes a little time. hope I helped, drive safe.RE: New car!?!?!? ok I's a really good deal! what do you think??
Q:I was just woundering if you would be able to lift a mini and make it in to a off road vehicle. and if so what else would I have to do to it to make it able to go off road? thanks
You can put wings on an elephant and call it a bird, but it's still an elephant. Get a car designed for offroading
Q:i got a 1983 Subaru gl station wagon, it has a 1.8l non turbo with a 5 speed and i am looking for a lift kit, and some performance parts too, and do not say any tang bomb, like the car ant worth that, and why! its my car and i can what i want to do to it!
blow it up or use up the battery
Q:1) A stuntman drives a car (without negative lift) over the top of a hill, the cross section of which can be approximated by a circle of radius R 280 m. What is the greatest speed at which he can drive without the car leaving the road at the top of the hill?
If my overweight sister-in-law is the driver, I would be surprised to see the hill could stay up, as the car reaches the top.
Q:At point A when the angle of elevation is 31 degrees, the lift cars will travel at 5.0 mph. Each degree of increase of elecation decreases the speed by .2 mph. Point A and point B are 600 feet away from each other (Point B is 600 feet right, closer to the mountain). We may be able to situate the base station at points other than points A and B. What base station location minimizes the time needed to reach the top? Also assume each degree of decrease in the angle of elevation increases the speed by .2 mph. Work please? Thanks!
We need a diagram, or a better setup. Is A at the same elevation as B? Is there some third point on the mountain to which the cars must travel? If so, what is its elevation and distance? (I guess if from A Θ 31?, we need the elevation OR the distance -- we can calculate the other.) If we put the station at B, how do we get to B? And what is the travel time to get to B? Does it matter?
Q:like the ones in Need For Speed Under Ground 2 (Game)when the car lifts up from the back and also from the front.
Hydraulic suspension to do it from the inside. Coil over suspension to do it from outside, it is like normal struts and springs, but high quality and is fully adjustable for ride height.
Q:I give family members lifts home, like if my sisters come to visit, or sometimes borrow the car to go on outings with my sisters, such as a walk, or taking my mum to Tesco. I‘ve also borrowed the car 4 times in the last 6 months (as far as I can remember) for cinema trips with friends and to a party. So, what should I contribute to the upkeep of the car? Also, when I first passed my driving test I offered to pay for petrol and he didn‘t want me to as - 1) He didn‘t want me to think I could borrow the car loads/ get it in my mind that I half own the car and 2) He didn‘t intend for me to use the car a lot. Also, when I ask my Dad what I should contribute he tells me not to bother however, I remember he used to moan about my brother not contrubiting to the car when he borrowed it.
the bad side of owning a manual trans is when an auto fails, there usually is something left to build, with a manual, your looking at a great expense if it has been run to the point of failure if you can get the parts that is. sometimes rebuilding a manual trans just isn't financially feasible. besides, you don't want some dealer mechanic trying his luck repairing your manual trans
