FAQ of Cast Steel Check Valve:
Q1:I can’t find the type of steel check valve which I need. what can I do?
The chart above only lists out some common composition of steel check valve parts. We may provide other different parts material composition according to the customer's request or the actual valve working condition.
Q2:Which certification do your products pass?
Our products are in accordance with ISO 9001、ISO 14001、API 6A、API 6D、TS CE、API607/6FA/BS6755.
- Q: i was filling the tire on my car and the valve stem completely came out when i finished, quickly deflating the tire. i could push it back in but then the process repeated itself when i tried refilling it again. is there part of the stem i'm not seeing. the stem that i saw was long and straight and threaded. advise, thoughts? thanks.
- Are you talking about the whole valve stem? You need a new one, tire has to be dismounted to install it. Are you talking about the insides, the valve core? There is a tool to thread it in, used to be right on the valve caps that came on bicycles, is available in any auto parts store. Why that would pop out I don't know, unless somebody deliberately loosened it. Or perhaps you have ended up with some of the millions of low-quality counterfeit ones that came out of China a couple of years agol
- Q: Im looking for a new BBb tuba. i would like six valves at 4+2. but if not looking for 6 valve BBb tuba
- I don't know how long you've been playing tuba but 6 valve BBb tubas are virtually non-existent. No current brass instrument manufacturer will have that in their line-up. Tubas with 6 valves are already rare and are pretty much limited to F tubas. If you want a 6 valve BBb (I don't know why you even need/want that many valves) then your best option would be to buy a 5 valve BBb tuba and having it modified to include a 6th valve. Either way, expect to pay a minimum of $10000 (ten thousand) for the instrument.
- Q: I have 3 such valves in the line and none seem to be able to move past 10/4 oclock position and water remains on. Is there a way to adjust valve? Seems there is slot for screwdriver in center of valve.
- Pvc Shut Off Valve
- Q: 12 valve
- Un plug the vacuum hose on top of the valve, loosen and remove the big tube nut on the bottom of the valve, I have found if you hit it sharply with a hammer 3 or 4 times before you try to loosen it won't break the valve off, once the tube nut is undone remove the 2 bolts holding the EGR valve to the intake manifold. Remove and discard the gasket and install the new valve in the reverse order. If the tube nut still won't come loose try heating it with a torch, if it's really rusted on you might have to replace the EGR tub along with the valve.
- Q: I went to the cardiologist yesterday and I was diagnosed with leaky aortic valve. I really want to know more information on it, but i cant find anything. I have two questions:- is aortic valve leakage and aortic valve regurgitation the same thing?- can somebody give me some background information or some articles for me to read so i know how to keep it minor?also heres some family history:My Dad- Arrhythmia, Heart Murmurs, something with Coronary ArtaryMy Mom- Mitral ValveMy (twin) brother- Bicupsive Valve My sister - she has heart papitations, but we dont know what it isim 15 year old girl (if it helps)and right now its not too serious
- the best one to ask all these questions is that doctor. he can tell you and be honest. you need to learn to trust him and if you don't go to someone else. it has to be questions by someone that knows that does not quess?
- Q: Our water heater (bought in 2007 so still fairly new still under warranty luckily) seems to release water from the pressure release valve quite frequently. Everyone seems to say that it shouldn't do it often and ours probably does it a couple times per day. 2 main questions - 1. Is there really a risk of too much pressure building up and the water heater exploding (that's what the sales guy at Lowe's said) and 2. Any idea what the problem might be/what we should check out?
- I doubt that there is any chance of the water heater exploding since the safety valve is leaking. Have you checked the water temperature settings? After no hot water has been used for a while, run some hot water and check the temperature. If it is near boiling, the you need to check the settings. It could be just a faulty relief valve which leaks when the water surges. When there is high water flow that stops suddenly the water pressure will surge for a very short time. Try opening the bath tub faucets fully and then shut them off quickly while some one watched the heater to see if it leaks. I hope this helps.
- Q: this valve used in the refinery.
- This is a 'Trip and Throttle' (T T) valve that is maintained in a 'Fully Open' postion during normal turbine operation. It is maintained open by a Hydraulic Control system that, should any of many shutdown conditions occur, the hydraulic oil will be dumped to its reservoir by the operation of a Solenoid valve, actuated by the shutdown signal, and the T T valve will immediately close, stopping the steam flow to the turbine speed control steam chest in a safe manner. The valve handwheel is then operated to ensure that the valve remains fully closed until the system is ready for re-start. The valve cannot be opened again until the shutdown condition has been rectified and the hydraulic system reset to restore the oil pressure to the valve. The valve however, can then only be re-opened manually and slowly until the turbine is brought to the 'Minimum Speed Control' Governor setting. When settled down at this condition and the steam chest valves are under the control of the Governor, the T T valve is swung wide open. This latches the valve in the fully open position until another shut down occurs,
- Q: what's the function of a car valve???????????
- Cylinder head valves come in many designs and combinations. Their may be two, three or four valves in the head and combustion chamber that open and to let air and fuel in while the piston compresses the mixture and is ignited near top dead center. When the piston is near bottom dead center the exhaust valves open where the piston pushes the spent gasses out underneath the open exhaust valve. As the piston nears the top of the exhaust stroke, the intake valve opens to allow the air/fuel to enter the combustion chamber and cylinder bore. As the piston sweeps down vacuum is created in the cylinder and more fuel / air enters. When the piston reaches the bottom of the intake stroke, the intake valve closes in preparation for the compression stroke. Go to the Wikipedia Encyclopedia ot How Stuff Works to see how a four stroke engine operates. You'll see what the valves look like and how they work.
- Q: I need to make a one way valve that would allow water or other fluid one way but if there is too much pressure on the opposite side the valve will close and stop water from flowing backward. Can anyone help?
- It's called a Check-valve. Easier to buy than build. They are made in brass and PVC.
- Q: i have a yamaha trumpet. i got it brand new and it is 3 years old. I recently did drop it and i have a tiny dent on the last turn to the bell. after that they started sticking . There are no dents on the valves or casing surrounding them. i brought them to Quinlan and fabish and showed them the sticking they replaced the valves spring padding and the such. They also did an ultrasound cleaning i think it is called . they are still sticking. Please any think that you can suggest i showed my band teacher who suggested going to Quinlan and fabish. Then my trumpet teacher who said i need to oil more after the cleaning please help
- Check that you are not putting sideways pressure on your valves when you press them downwards. Even on a good horn this sideways pressure can cause friction between the piston and the valve casing. Avoid this by arching your fingers a little, depressing with your finger's tips, and avoid the pinkie finger ring entirely. Tying your pinkie up in that only restricts your 3rd. finger's freedom of straight downward movement. Over- lubricating the valves can be as bad as too little oil. Do the whole warm bath treatment that you would normally do to clean it, add 3 drops to each valve, work horn for a few minutes, wipe valves with very old (washed heaps of times) t-shirt: then finally 2 drops again. If this doesn't work, get a trumpet specialist teacher to take it home for this treatment.(You might not be bathing it right). Failing that, check my web site's repair section. Good Luck!
