Q: okay so i am not so sure about this...tell me what you think.me and my aunt know a guy that works for a tv station and he says he will get us press passes to this tennis event. but i guess im kinda worried because even though he's from the press me and her aren't. can you get in trouble for this? do you think this is okay or not such a good idea? thankss
Are you serious? getting press passes is the best you get the best seats in the house fo freee. there is nthing to worry about i once went to the austrlain open pree seats snd tehy were the best and no one asked a question and we didnt even have the passes we just sneaked in. so you'll definetly be safe. nithign to worry about or ifyou do you can always give the tickets to me you know
Q: I have always used pressed powder for my makeup, but I was wondering what the big difference between pressed and loose powder is? Does one look or feel better over the other? Or does it last longer? Should I try loose powder? What do you think?
They both have advantages and disadvantages. Loose powders are more finely milled, so they can give a very flawless finish on the face. You can also better control how much product is applied to the face, as you are using a brush to apply them. You can go as light or heavy as you want at any given time. They are wonderful for setting liquid and powder products. But loose powders usually come in large containers and require a brush for application, so they can be difficult to use on-the-go for touch-ups (and messy!). Pressed powders tend to be a bit creamier and less finely milled and are applied with a pad or sponge, so they always go on heavier and thicker and give some coverage. That's not necessarily bad, and in fact can be very good when you want to touch-up your foundation over the course of the day. The pressed powders are also eaiser to throw in a purse without creating a mess and are easy to use virtually anywhere as they usually come with the pad or sponge right in the container. There are some oils in any pressed powder (to keep it as one solid mass in the container) so they can get a little cakey on the face and some very oily folks may find the powder changes color on their faces. So one isn't necessarily better or worse than the other in general. You really have to think about the results you want and where and when you are likely to use it. They each have their place!
Q: I feel like my nails are different from other peoples there wider and my fingers are shortish and I bite my nails a lot so I want to try press on nails but will they fit my nails?
Usually press on nails come in about 8 different sizes in one box. If you buy one of those packs you should be fine. For biting your nails, you should try to buy some clear coat polish that tastes disgusting so you wont want to bite them. It might help your habit :)
Q: I am wanting to start reloading my .270 and my 30-06 rifle. Which one would be better
The second one is a kit, and includes many things you will need to start reloading. I bought the same kit a few years ago and have no complaints.
Q: Setting up a home gym, currently have a barbell and dumbell set but no bench. Will doing a floor press build significant mass until i can get a bench?
Muscular hypertrophy (growth) is accomplished through proper diet and employment of the overload principle. This principle states that progressive overload with sufficient resistance leads to a muscle getting stronger (and thus larger) over time. All of this is a fancy way of saying that you can make your muscles larger if you work them out with sufficient loading. Your muscles don't care if you are using a fancy piece of equipment in a large gym, or simply lifting a heavy rock. The effect will be the same. In fact, nearly all fitness experts prefer natural lifting movements over large ranges of motion (press, squat, etc.) to isolation equipment because they harness larger numbers of muscles and develop balance, coordination, in addition to growth. Workout benches are really all about convenience. They are padded for comfort, and serve to eliminate the need for you to get down on the floor and back up again over and over. Many exercises, particularly dumbbells, are actually more safely done with you lying on the floor! This is because laying on the floor eliminates the danger of dumbbells pulling your arms beyond their normal range of motion. For example, if you perform dumbbell flies lying on your back on the floor, then your arms can't drop below the level of your body - they hit the floor and stop. On a bench, you are at risk for extending too far as your muscles get tired, and this could lead to sprains or tears. Mark Rippetoe (a famous body building trainer) discusses the history of the bench in several of his books. He pointed out that the popular bench press exercise was, in times past, performed on the floor! He points out that this this exercise is much safer when done on the floor, and probably a better overall workout. Nevertheless, he concedes that the bench is here to stay. If you already have dumbbells, the only thing you need to do a huge number of exercises is an exercise pad - of if budget is an issue, an old piece of carpet!
Q: Since the mechanics are the same (except you can adjust the weight)? Also how much should I be able to bench press? I am a 15 year old, 150 pound, white teenager, so how much?
They are mostly the same. On the bench press you also need them little balancing muscles to maintain control of the weight, you know what I'm saying? The major muscle groups are the same though. Usually push ups are more of a endurance workout, and bench press is a strength workout. Usually. If your'e in good shape you should be able to bench about your body weight at least once. But, there is nothing wrong with shooting for more. And what does being white have to do with it?! haahah
Q: Is a chest press equal to a Bench press
i think so but i like benching more. it feels like it better to me
Q: I am doing an avocado oil extraction research to compare the recovery rate of cold-pressed and hot-pressed extraction, and I would like to have more information about the two :)
cold pressed means that the seeds like olives are pressed at room temperature to extract their oils. these are much more expensive. hot pressed means they heat the seeds up and add chemicals to help extract more oil. some seeds like sesame seeds need to be hot pressed because they hold such little oil. hot pressed oils are much cheaper.
Q: I just started bench pressing twice a week. I want to build muscle on my chest. I also do flat bench though so I'm not desperate to see results quickly. This is my second week of bench pressing twicedumbbell flies. I love doing them because I can feel the workout a lot on my chest. I just recently started a week. When will I start seeing results though?? I don't drink protein shakes because i hear they just make you fat. Is it true?I would like to hear suggestions???
I see what you are going through because I am going through the same thing. I do dumbell chest flies and dumbell chest presses, lateral raises, each consisting of right now 3 circuits of 20 reps of each exercise(3 times a week) and for me i did not start seeing results not until after 3 weeks . answering your question you should be seeing results at around 3-6 weeks. because it depends on many factors e.g what you are eating? how many times you do your exercise a week? and your body type. I would also suggest you doing 20-30 reps of lateral raises into your work out. going to your second question.as far as protein drinks i have the same fear as you have. that is why i don't drink it right now.(eventually I am going to give it a try) but I hear it doesn't make you fat. I helps you repair give nutrients your muscle tissue during your off workout hours. I hope that this information helps you. and remeber don't expect your body to look the way you want it to be over night. it takes a long time to get it there.
Q: does it work good i have my products online how can customers buy from me from cafe press. can i print out my store and bring them to postoffices and laundry mats so other people can buy from me.
I've never listed anything on Cafe Press, but I have ordered a few things off of it. The transactions went smoothly and I'd order again from there. Customers will come across your products when they do a search of the items on the main page. You can also branch out and post your links in appropriate forums (like, the one I purchased from, was a shirt for a little one I nanny for...I came across the link in a nanny forum) or try posting them in actual stores. Good luck.
