Q:eSata means you connect the drive from outside the case. If so, what kind of cable do you use for power, assuming you're not opening up the case to use the regular molex connectors?: I use an external sata for backup with a usb cable converter the power comes from the usb cable, esata I suspect would be similar unless you are hooking it up with arj45 or something?

Q:My computer has ran fine for almost 6 to 7 months and just recently shutdown, and when I boot it back up, I get a red message and a beeping noise saying quot;The power cable is not connected to the video card. I thought it was a heat problem with the computer so I shut it down and left it for a while to cool down, but I still got that message.: What part of The power cable is not connected to the video card do you not understand? You need to open your computer and connect the power cable to your video card. It has somehow become disconnected.

Q:I'm building another computer to give to someone, i have all the parts and when it got down to installing the CD drive and the Hard drive i plugged the sata cables into the motherboard but when i looked to install them to the power supply mine did not have any of those cables. I had spare cables from my other power supply but they require you to plug them into the power supply but since the other power supply is older it doesn't work. I was wondering if i could get cables that plug into the extra connectors then to the CD drive/ Hard drive instead of plugging them into the power supply then the CD drive/ Hard drive.: Handycam Camcorders do no longer draw potential from USB. you may desire to purchase a replace potential grant cable. while you're taking the camcorder to a place like superb purchase or Radio Shack, you may in all likelihood get a clean cable for little or no money (regardless of if that's not the best Sony cable).

Q:My mother has moved to Australia, taking her Fujitsu Siemens (Amilo model) laptop with her. Very shortly after, her power cable stopped functioning, and she would like a new one. Q:i have a 01 grand prix gt and i want to run the power cable to an amp , anyone know a good spot to run it?: I recommend running it on the same side as your battery. That way you won't have to cross all the way to the other side of the car. Also, it reduces the length required for the wire. If there is somewhere that you can life up (like a panel you can pull up on the bottom of your car, where the doors are), you can potentially hide the wire under that and run it also.

Q:i bought a record player at a garage sale. it is the kind that has to be hook up to a sterio (no speakers of its own). it has the two cables to hook up to the sterio but no power cable. will the power come from the sterio or did i get ripped off?: You need to get a power cable. Q:The green light on the back of the power supply comes on when the power cable is plugged. also, every time i plug in the power cable, the fan on the power supply wants to spin, but it stops. The squeezing noise remains and i push the power button - nothing comes on.Before, it used to come on for a few seconds and then it will turn off by itself. Q:I recently got YLOD on my ps3 (60g fat) system ,sent it away ,got it back with a new mainboard ,it worked for about 2 days and it cut out (red lights blinking) once again i sent it away ,got it back and it cut out within a few hours (red lights blinking again ) ,so one last repair i sent it off to same shop ,and once again it worked for about a week then cut out on me again ! ,is there any possibility its my power cable to my ps3 thats doing this ?: It's simple: Your PS3's hardware was too damaged for it to be repaired, or the repair shop has no idea what they are doing. Not all PS3's can be effectively repaired. And even if someone gets them working temporarily (as in your case) they can shut down again almost immediately. See if you can get a refund or at least a partial refund. You need to give up on that PS3. It's beyond repair.
