- Q: I need some advice! For my wedding we will be borrowing tables and metal folding chairs. I already have the tables planned out with white tablecloths and a fuschia tulle runner down the center. My problem is the chairs are really ugly and I need a very cheap idea on how to cover those. We are on a really tight budget ($3,000 for everything)as we are paying for everything ourselves. I was thinking of buying some tulle for the chairs and ribbon, but I wanted to know if anyone would have any idea what that would cost per chair? My colors are fuschia, yellow and orange. Thanks!
- Check for sales on sheets. One sheet set will cover four chairs. Another thing you can do is just make fabric covers for the chairs that are lining aisle or outside edges. The tops of the interior chairs would just need something for the backs which will save you a ton of fabric. They don't show up in before ceremony pics and will be covered by your guests' bodies during. You could dye or paint canvas or just cotton fabric. Mixing patterns of clearance material will look fine as long as they are in the same colors and will help add to the casual feel. Watch the paper and check online. Joann's and Hobby Lobby usually have a 40% coupon every few weeks that you can use on any item in the store, even on sale. This will save you a ton. If you are on their mailing lists they will send you some as well. I wouldn't use tulle unless you really need to. The chairs are going to show through it.

- This furniture is a symbol of the simpler times that followed the first world war. Previously, American designers had copied European steamer chairs, or French bistro chairs. The first companies to manufacture metal gliders and swings were The J.R. Bedding Company, in Philadelphia and Howell Manufacturing, whose designs were a rage at the 1939 World Fair! - Q: The ink is from a belt. The color from the belt left the belt pattern on the leather chair.
- I was looking for this answer just today, and 10 mins ago, I just tried Mr. Clean's Magic Eraser sponges to clean black ink from a ballpoint pen off of a light yellow leather chair, and it worked perfectly! After that, I just used my leather conditioner so it won't suffer, but these sponges are the best! I've used them before to clean stuff from my walls, it's great! Good luck!
- Q: for those of you with mobility disabilities-do you prefer a scooter with the handle bar or the chair like a hoverround
- i actually prefer my quickie power chair. i dont like the people from hoverround. they came to my house for a test drive and yelled at my dog when she did nothing wrong. im slightly hearing impaired and if i remember she was alerting me to a noise. anyway, i like the scooters at places i shop at because it makes my shopping experience 100% better when im not trying to wheel and hold onto my purchases. they have a wheelchair (cant remember the brand offhand) that you can have it as a power chair and it also converts to a scooter. by the way i can and do drive a normal car.

- the chairs are real but they aren't steel they are made of plastic when they hit it's so obvious and sometimes you can see the chair doesn't hit directly to the head, the wrestler usually blocks it with their hands. Edit: Well Excuse Me! The Human Suplex Machine! :P They can be like a hard plastic.

- Absolutely unnecessary. I looked at using them - I also loved the look - but that money can be spent SO much better elsewhere. Seriously. People won't even really notice what the chairs look like.
- Q: If a chair is something you sit on does it make the floor a chair?
- A chair has to have 4 or more legs of any length, let it be individual or off of a single pedistal from the seat, otherwise it would be a stool, with no legs it would be a seat, AND a chair also has to have a back otherwise it also be considered a stool. So a chair has to have a back and four legs or more in some way. I have never see a 3 or less legged chair. Recliners also has at least four feet it sits on. Even rocking chairs have four legs on a set of rockers.

- actually yes and no. the force of the chair is a resistance force. is a resistance force because gravity is pulling the person down however the chair stop him from going all the way down. an example of a such thing is a sheet of paper and a book. hold both the book and the paper and let go of them at the same time. you'll notice that the book would reach the ground first. here the resistant force is the air because the book is heavy air cant stopped it or slow it down. however the paper is much lighter so it can slow it down. an upward force means that it's pushing up instead of just resisting.
