- I was in one of those little kid plastic ones, it was pink, old, and from Ikea. I was babysitting my niece and we were having a little tea party. I tried to scoot in by jumping with the chair, like that little hop to scoot in. So, the front legs to the chair broke and my head smacked onto the little table, causing me to get a bloody nose, and the little tea pot filled with tea went all over my lap. My niece still likes to bring it up every time i see her saying that i peed cause I was scared but I always tell her it was the tea. I had a bruise for a while and i'm still ashamed of the incident.

- Really consider this. Do you want your LO at their own high chair with a tray, or do you want them to sit at the table? Both has pro's and cons but consider which fits in with your life better. We are limited on space, so chose a wooden high chair that adjusts as our daughter grows, and slides right up to the table. It is great as it takes up no extra space, but there were defiantly times I wanted a tray, especially when she was younger, but this doesn't have one.

We both thought it would just dry up but today when i looked at the chair there is a big stain there. does anyone know how to get rid of it? the chair is green and the stain looks like it has an almost brownish edge to it.
- If leather, use leather cleaner. For other fabrics, cool water, sponge, dishwashing liquid and Zout fabric stain remover. 1 quart water, 1/2 tsp. Dawn or Joy dishwashing liquid. Spray liberally with Zout fabric stain remover, esp. the brownish edges. Dirt in the chair cushion rose up like mudwater when the water from the wet suit got into the fabric, that's what the brownish stain is from. Allow Zout to remain for an hour, rinse sponge in soap water, and wash the cushion. Scrub. Dump water, rinse sponge well, wring it out, fill tub with more clean water and use the sponge to rinse the cushion by soaking the sponge in clean water, wring it, start wiping or washing out the soap, repeatedly, sponge out the soap. When the soap is washed or 'rinsed' out, use a hair dryer to dry the seat, or use a clean, old bath towel and push it down, gently onto the seat to absorb most of the moisture. Then use a hair dryer to dry the seat. If this doesn't work, you could try to recover the cushion with new fabric after it dries out.

- Hi, maybe I'm wrong (don't think so) I had a restaurant and one thing I learned is macthing colour, the way I can see your living room it's bright so you need something who make us (looking at) call cutting I'll try long back chairs, glossy black (4 sure) with a cushion seat peach or beige, will be better with peach colour, and wont cost you an arm a leg! NOTES; steel chair will work fine H.A.N.DAY!!!

- Q: I'm buying a new dining suite, and have got my eye set on a set of nice suede cream chairs. Opinion seems to be divided over whether suede is good or bad, so my question is - are suede chairs good for a dining room? Do they stain easily, even when scotchguarded (and does scotchguard change their feel?).
- Hi Lauren, Though the dining room suite sounds very nice to look at, I don;t think I would personally invest in cream color suede seated chairs. I do not think they will stand the test of time and use. Scotch guard does not change the feel to the hand of the fabric. But, I think there is a false sense of security with the product. We think it will work and be a stain defender but not always so. Best of Luck in your final decision.
