3. How long will it take to be ready for shipment of my order?
- Q: My house is very old and the cieling won't hold the weight of someone sitting in the chair. Is there any way I can make a frame or something that will help support the weight.
- Even is your house is old, you can still install this chair so it works and doesn't rip the ceiling down on your head. I've done this sooooooo many times (mostly for very heavy chandeliers) and it works! You will however, need to prepare first. You'll need to go up into the space above the ceiling of your room and the roof. You can drill thru the ceiling and use a very long screw post (you'll find it at any good home hardware store... just tell them what you want to do) It's a long pole with threads just like a screw but flat on both ends. You can bolt this into a support post in the attic crawl space, then it will come out thru the ceiling in your room. Add a hook for 250 pounds to the thread post and hang your chair... it'll hold 250 pounds, easily! Nice chair, by the way!

- I don't know exactly what your desk is like but can you put a couple hooks into the side and put a bungee cord around the back of the chair to lock it in place? My son learned real quick if he touched the laptop he got in trouble so he rarely reaches for it now. However we have a cheap office chair on roller wheels that he likes to get on and zoom around the house. The bungee cord does not work with this kind of chair/desk as he learned to tilt it and slide it out. Finally we gave up because the fun he has on the chair outweighs any punishment we gave him so we let him fall off the chair and hurt himself a couple times and he is a lot more careful now. Hasn't stopped him from playing on it but he is a lot more cautious! Sometimes it feels mean but it can be the best way to teach a child what not to do sometimes. Remember that kids are tough and a fall that might break one of our bones or knock us out is usually just a bump/bruise and a 10 minute crying fit. You'd be amazed at how soon a little one is all better with the mention of a lollipop or Popsicle! Good luck!!

- I was in one of those little kid plastic ones, it was pink, old, and from Ikea. I was babysitting my niece and we were having a little tea party. I tried to scoot in by jumping with the chair, like that little hop to scoot in. So, the front legs to the chair broke and my head smacked onto the little table, causing me to get a bloody nose, and the little tea pot filled with tea went all over my lap. My niece still likes to bring it up every time i see her saying that i peed cause I was scared but I always tell her it was the tea. I had a bruise for a while and i'm still ashamed of the incident.

- Wow, how impolite ask for $400 rock chair! Tacky! Parents must buy the nursery furniture by themselves, as well as nursing pads, breast cream, post-partum pads and other personal products. Traditionally, baby registry is a big no-no because it sounds that you're telling guests what to bring you. It need not be a rocking chair, just a comfortable armchair and it's you who must buy, don't put that on baby shower gift list.
- Q: I just got a new TV for gaming, a 37 Toshiba, but now I need a good chair. The TV is on a table maybe 1 ft. 8 in. high (about), so I think that I maybe want a chair with a pedestal thing on the bottom. The X Rocker Pro looks nice but is expensive. I am mainly looking for comfort here; sound quality is not as big of a concern although good sound would be nice:) The X Rocker Pro has mixed reviews on the comfort level, though... Also, I am 57ish and pretty thin, so I don't need a big, fat chair or anything too specific size-wise. It's the comfort that counts. Thanks.
- There are several other types and brands of video rocker chairs or video gaming chairs at the site below. Some gaming chairs are good if you're short and some are good if you're tall. Trying the chairs out of course is best. You want your legs to reach the floor comfortably- the video rocker chairs are closer to the floor normally than the average chair. You can get gaming chairs that are cheap and good too.
