- Q: I am going to go shopping for high chair of Tuesday and I need some help. My son is almost five months old.I want one that has several hight positions, removable tray (for easy cleaning), and possibly the seat can also recline to lower angle. However, these chairs are a lot pricier than the ones that don't have many position.So what kind of a chair do you have? Do you like it? What would you change on it? - I have the Fisher Price Precious Planet one, it's basically a different version of the rainforest one. I love it! The seat reclines far enough back that my daughter could sit in it to drink a bottle when I had things to do and couldn't hold her. The tray has a removable, dishwasher safe try thing that sits over top, which makes cleaning it very easy. The fabric is great, too, it's water repellant without being plasticky. The heights go from low enough that my daugher can eat cheerios off of it while she's wandering around the livingroom (she's a year old now) to high enough that it doesn't kill my back to feed her or put things on her tray, even standing. I love this highchair. This high chair was a bit more expensive than I wanted to pay, but after several attempts at feeding baby in the carseat on the kitchen table, it was worth it. I was also lucky enough to get the floor model, so I got 20% or something off! But I would pay full price, and am considering doing so since I'll have two little ones to feed when this one is born in September.
- Q: I have a microfiber chair that is looking a little dingy, what is the best way to clean it? Is there a good product? Any advice??
- I had a Microfiber chair. I also have a black lab. When she was a puppy, she would vomit, pee, and do almost every imaginable nasty thing to that chair that you can imagine. Here is how i cleaned it when needed... 1. I have a bissell carpet cleaner with hose attachments. I filled the resevoir with HOT water. I filled the cleaner tank with... lysol cleaner with fabreeze. I first sprayed the chair with the cleaner out of a spray bottle so that the cleaner could work its magic for 15 minutes before i turned on the bissell. After presoaking with the cleaner, i turned on the bissell and sprayed it with hot water. i waited for a few minutes, 5 at most, and then began to spray and suction repeatedly all over the chair. This worked awesome and did not discolor or bleach the fabric. It also left the fabric smelling very very nice, since it had febreeze in it. After i cleaned it, i sprayed the chair with 3M SCOTCH GUARD in order to prevent later stains. Now my puppy is fully grown and doesn't do nasty things to the furniture. Good Luck. -Luis Pernia
- Q: in your opinion, is it better to use a little potty chair, or a seat that will fit the big toilet for poty training? i was thinking that if i use a potty seat, then i will use have to re-train my son to the REAL potty after he gets a hang of the little one. what is your experiance?
- Which ever works best for you. I personally would start with the little potty then once they are comfortable and good at using it I would switch to the big toilet. It isn't hard to get them to switch over in my experience.
- Q: My friend has this folding papasan chair that I fell in love with. It would be great to have my own. She says the company that made it is Mainstays but from my searching, it would appear they do not make that kind of chair anymore. I'm finding it difficult to find any folding papasan chairs that are even close to the dimensions of hers, which are 36 inches high, 41 inches wide, and 37.5 inches deep. Does anyone know where I could get such a chair?

- Q: I am looking to purchase for a teen and a tween a lounge type chair - something is bright colors (one green/one pink) similar to a bean bag chair, but with a little more substance or back support. I saw one on PBTeen, but it is almost $200 each.Does anyone have any suggestions on where I might find one maybe for about $100? I've seen some really cheap looking ones - kind of like an extreme bright shiny vinyl which I didn't like. It also should be light enough and easy enough for them to bring from their bedrooms to the basement for TV watching with friends.

- Did you ask your guests to RSVP? Either way, only set out chairs for those who you know will be there, with only a few extra (people will undoubtably bring an uninvited 'extra'). Have the other chairs stacked and ready to go either in a nearby room or just out of sight in your yard if the ceremony is being held out of doors. If you set up the chairs to begin with and then take them away if they aren't filled it, will definately make the room seem empty as people will notice how many chairs are taken away.

- i have the space saver high chair. it can attach to any chair so it doesn't take up additional space. we have a table that seats 6 and it's only the 3 of us so it just made sense. i like it. it is easy to clean and can even recline a bit to make baby comfortable. i put her in it when i'm making dinner.

- those buttons can be tied to the back of the chair before the rear section of the chair is covered == use some heavy string that will pull those buttons to the depression to make those tufts ... I have never done this so if it does help you {{sorry 'bout that}} SBT .... go the book store or the public library for the old books that will give you the best info ...........
