- Q: I used to have a computer chair (wal-mart brand) that I used for so long that the cushioning started migrating away from my butt and legs to where it felt like I was sitting on a piece of wood.I bought a new one and I tried every single chair the store had (Office Depot) and this one feels awesome. It was one of their most expensive ones so I want to make sure it lasts and the cushion doesn't migrate away from my butt again.
- If the chair was one of their most expensive ones, then hopefully the chair will hold up just fine, butt again I could be wrong. Make sure your weight is evenly distrubuted in the chair don't sit on the edge of it.

- Q: I didn't lose all that much weight, mind. But without that little bit of natural padding, my butt and legs get really really sore very quickly from sitting in my office chair. - Just clean it normally--if you're other coworkers see you, then say you spilled coffee on it. Go to the websites below on how to clean it or just remove odors from it. PS-If your chair doesn't smell to the normal person--i.e. you only smell it when you bend down and put your face up to it to take a whiff--then I would just leave it. It's better to have a chair that smells like poop (but not one will actually smell it unless they put their face next to it) rather than a suede chair that you tried to clean and wound up funny looking because you ruined the leather. Suede is apparently really tricky to clean (I've never tried it) so you may want to take that into consideration.

- clean the chair, then go to a real paint store and get a can of spray paint that is made for plastic. you should not need a primer.

- Not sure if you're a big antique fan, but if you are, you may want to try to look for a high chair from the 20s or 30s. These tend to be generously sized, so your son should be able to sit in it comfortably. I'm guessing that booster seats did not exist then, so high chairs were used until a child could sit in a regular kitchen or dining table chair.

- Q: I have a large office chair that's oversized and comfortable. Probably very expensive to replace outright. It's of the type that uses a gas cylinder/shock absorber design. That's failed, and I'm wondering if it can be replaced economically. If so, would it be a do-it-yourself project?. Thanks.
