Q: I was just wondering if many new mothers use their rocking chairs much? My mom told be she never did. But I am getting this nice Glider and ottoman. I think I will use it often.Do you have a glider or rocker?How often do you use your rocking chair? The pictures are attached bellow.: this is a nice looking chair and the wood stained finish is good == do not change the finish of the wood .... a trip to the fabric store or maybe two trips will help you search for a needlepoint tapestry scene fabric to recover the back and seat and the rear of the seat back == you really do not want to do any colorful fabric as this will not be the style of such a nice chair ....the value of the chair may well be over $500.00 but you should follow your heart as far as price Be careful that it is [[ in fact ]] over 100 years old .. look at the chair and determine if you can see signs of it being a totally symetrical carved by hand wooden chair -- the wood carving of the top seat back does indicate to me that it was done by hand = most 100 to 150 year old furniture has a rubbed glossy finish and the photo does not show that === I have looked at well over 1000 chairs and did not find anything even close to your pick == just try the local library for books of antique chairs and furniture === if you like the chair and it suits your needs and you can afford the chair .... buy and enjoy .....

Q: Okay, this is a serious question. When I smell my seat, it straight up smells like farts. I am a clean person and occassionally let one rip (like anyone else), but it seems like my computer chair absorbs the smell.Is this normal? Do all chairs smell like this eventually? Put a capfull of eucalyptus oil into a spray bottle full of warm water, shake well and spray over the entire surface of your chair and wipe over with a damp cloth or sponge. Eucalyptus oil is a brilliant antibacterial and antiseptic agent and will eliminate all those nasty odors that are bugging you so much? It is also an all natural remedy and contains no chemicals or nasties to irritate sensitive bodies? Caution: Don't use eucalyptus oil if you have high blood pressure or suffer from epilepsy?if either is the case simply substitute for pure essential tea tree oil, which is also a great antibacterial and antiseptic?
