Q: I have a hard drive that has an enclosure is there any way to take an internal 3.5hard drive and convert it to an only usb cable portable hard drive with no power cord?: No. Not a 3.5 hard drive. You can do it with a 2.5 laptop drive because the drive mechanics and electronics require less power. A 3.5 drive requires too much power for USB to provide. Though... In the near future, you will see USB ports that are capable of supplying more power than the standard .5 amps that USB currently provides. So after they come out, you might see it being a possibility then.

Q: Why cross bonding in power cable?: If so, the answer is: By tying multiple cables together, the current carrying capacity of the total cable is increased without having the total cost increase in proportion. In other words -- using the picture as an example -- tying 4 equal sized cables together increases the current carrying capacity by a factor of 4, but the cost of this multiple-wire cable is less than the cost of a larger single cable that would carry an equal amount of current. .

Q: i have an hp7500 and their is only two pin spots on the 9400 cable: Huh? Do you have the right model #? The only cable on the 9400GT should be the fan cable, and it should plug into the card itself (see picture in the link)

Q: So I have a subwoofer in my trunk and was wondering if I could use the big power cables (coming from my battery) going into the amp (which is a JL Audio JX1000) to power some LED's that I want to install. My plan was to cut out a small section of the rubber sheath (or whatever you call it) from each power cable and put the clamps from a power inverter on them, then plug my LED's into the power inverter. After putting the clamps on I would use electrical tape or something to cover any exposed areas of the cable. Would this work? If it does work, which color clamp (black/red) would i put on which cable? One says quot;groundand is blue and the other says quot;+12VDCand is red. Also I have a toggle switch near the driver seat to cut the power from the amp so the LED's won't be left on after the car is turned off. Q: the power cable is in 2 parts, one from the xbox to a box, from the box to the wallthat box has an led light. when the xbox is on, it should turn green, when the xbox is off it should turn orange. my led light is turning red instead of orange and green.its not red ring of death, or 4 red rings, i know this because my xbox wont even power up because the box in the power cable will not send power to my xbox. im so confused...plz help: I can't answer your question coz I've got the same problem too! can somebody please answer his question?

Q: Does anyone know if there are adapters to convert an extra PCI Express power cable to a 4-pin molex power cable?
