- Q: I have had my ASUS laptop for just over 2 months, and I've realised the power cable whilst being securely in, and charging without a problem, feels slightly loose when wobbled. I know this isn't a problem at the moment, but is this right, should it feel slightly loose? It moves quite freely inside the socket of the laptop when moved
- It should fit snuggly. Is it moved very frequently while plugged in? If so, this is the reason. As long as it makes a good connection and is 'slightly' loose, you should be alright. However, if I were you, I would ensure the lenght of the warranty and about 1-2 months before it expires, I'd bring it in and mention the cable is loose.
- Q: My mom gave me a rice cooker but it didn't come with a power cable. Can anyone identify this plug type and let me know where I can purchase a new cable?
- i hav seen this types of cables, but i don't know the name it .................do i thing since u hav the pic, print the pic show it to shop keepers they will provides u with exact 1s with guaranty
- Q: I have nine month old twins and they are starting to crawl and touch everything and I dont want them to get hurt. How can I hide all these loose cables. (modem, phone lines, power surges, chargers, camera cables, etc)
- just about any store that has a electronics department will have something for you to use. there are covers/guides designed for that purpose. good luck with the twins
- Q: hi i need to connect a extra cd rom drive to my computer and dont have enough 4 pin power cables in my computer how would i get those and how would i install those. Thanks
- These are called Y-Cable. Buy one. Remove the power cable from the old cdrom. Attach it to the newly purchased cable. Now you get 2 new points. Attach one to old cdrom and other to the new cdrom.
- Q: Why do phone lines stay on when other lines power and cable will go out during a storm?
- phone lines are usually buried underground whereas high-voltage lines are usually above ground. In storms electricity lines can be damaged causing black outs *EDIT* in response to your additional details: the power is generated outside cities and is transmitted into cities via overground high voltage lines.
- Q: i have a dell inspiron 9100. for some odd reason, it won't recognize its power cable. I have tried all outlets in my room that I can plug it into.
- It okorder
- Q: The power cable troughs are divided once and twice
- Can be used for overhead, buried and pipeline laying of the cable line
- Q: can i run a ati radeon hd 2900xt with a two 4pin molex power cable?
- yes of course
- Q: If you have an electrical device (e.g. a laptop), you'll sometimes notice that near the place where you plug the power adapter into it, there's a sign. It's composed of 3 circles, minus on the left, O inside a C in the middle, and plus on the right. What is this? And if I want to read/learn more about it where should I go?
- If you look at the jack that go inside the power input you will see that it is an outside connect and an inside one.The O is the inside connect and the C is the outside one.Because it is a DC power adapter it has a + and - polarity .O,the inside ,is the plus and C,the outside,is the minus. Also on the adapter you can see the same thing! This is because some brands use the outside connect as + and you can burn your device if you use it!!!!
- Q: The Power cable of my guitar amp (roland cube 20x) was under my computer chair leg and when i sat down the fuse triped in the power box then when i checked under me the cable was almost cut across.. How can i fix this or where would i get it fixed?
- Just splice the cable - no need to open the amp. Cut the damaged cable just above where it is damaged. Cut and strip the 3 wires. Cut off the damaged section. Cut and strip the wires that are connected to the power plug. Re-connect the two sections using in-line splices and electrical tape (you can buy these at any hardware store). Match up the wire colors. Splices look like this: mahathon .th/products_detail.ht... If you do a good job, that should last a long time.
