- Q: I have a power adapter that goes to a mixer (Denon DN-MC6000) and reads: INPUT 100-240V ~ 50/60Hz 1.5A, OUTPUT: 12V - 3A. Now I know this is the right adapter but I don't know if I have the right cable that goes from the adapter to the wall. I have one that says 6A 250V~ but I dunno if its the right one. I have a few others but can someone tell me what will be the right one so I don't blow up my mixer :P thanks
- This type of power cable can be plugged into any household power between 100 and 240 volts. So, any plug that fits into the wall plug is the right one. In the US and Canada the voltage is 110-120 volts. In the rest of the world 240 volts are used The plug and wire you mention is for the rest of the world. Now look at the adapter where you plug the cable into. Do they fit together? If yes go for it. If not keep looking.
- Q: I have a Dell Optiplex 790 SFF, I need a replacement power cable, on the manual it says for power: 240W, 1259 Btu/hr, 100 Vac to 240 vac, 50hz to 60 hz 3.6A. I contacted Dell and they said they have a power cable for it, the Dell 5120P cable which is 125 V 10A. Now my concern is with the 10A vs the 3.6A listed on the manual, should I be concerned?
- If the 3.6A cord has the power supply built into the cord, (brick) then a standard power cord without a brick will not work. Unplug your cord from the case and look at the end of it. If it has three connections, a standard cord will work. If it has 8 contacts, you need a brick type cord.
- Q: I need a power cable for an XBox 360. where can i buy one?
- In Walmart or Radio Shack.
- Q: I know there is problem in the CPU, please suggest what is the problem and how much it is going to cost me?
- Power cable into CPU? I guess you must possibly still have some of those dual power connector Power Supply? Those one where you can connect both the Power to the monitor and the input power to the CPU? If this is the case, your Power supply is possibly dying slowly. You need to change the poer supply. However, if that is not the kind of power supply that you have, I guess what you are pssibly talking about is that your monitor data communication cable which you connect to the CPU so that the data can be transmitted through to your monitor? If this is the case, then your monitor is not having any problem, it is just responding to the fact that it is properrly connected. Put on your system and see if your monitor do come on... If it comes on then everything is fine.... Now finally, if all these is not the case, then it mean you have not put your question properly. Rephrase your question so that you can have an answer... except ofcourse you are just trying to fool around...
- Q: i herd that 2 cables in a network (ethernet) cable just carry power. and was wondering which 2 colours or on what side the 2 are.also how much voltage they carry.was hoping to make an easy router mod to stop with the head issues.cheers.
- you did not state anything that will help anyone tell you that imformation you have to know what kind it is and it still would be very hard to just tell you the voltage and everything like that
- Q: If Not What Do I Have To Look Out For Because Im Looking For A New Power Supply Fan.
- Power supply fan is fan inside the power supply, which is the box inside the case of your pc that the main power cable to the pc plugs in to. Case fan is the fan inside the case that provides ventillation to the case. In some power supplies, the power supply fan will act as a case fan by sucking air from inside the case and redirecting it through the power supply then outside the case. This type of power supply is unusual though. in most situations the power supply fan does not act as a cooling system for the case. (and therefore does not act as a case fan). If you replace your power supply fan be VERY CAREFUL as they are extremely dangerous to work on because they deal with direct current from your power socket. The fans inside the PSU are attached by 4 screws to the metal enclosure. usually they are attached to the circuit board by a plug. I have teken a few to pieces and hevent seen one which requires soldering. That may be the case with some models though. USE EXTREME CARE if replacing a power supply fan!!!! Replacement power supplies are very cheap and can be picked up for about $25. If its the PSU fan, it may be simpler to just replace the unit (a new fan is by itself about $10) So for about $15 you can have a whole new unit with no risks to your machine or to your health :o)
- Q: in the system unit
- One is to transmit data and the other to transmit power. Your head not working this morning or just trolling?
- Q: What can I use for a power cable? Need a new one and I am not sure what to get. Could you send a link to one please?
- Looks OK for the price.
- Q: I lost the power cord and I can't seem to find a replacement online. Is there anything I can do to savage this since I do not want to buy a new printer. If it helps, I have an old power cable from a samsung ML 2510, but that printer is deemed useless since it started to smell like smoke.
- It is the same kind of cable for your pc power supply, just find it in computer shops.
- Q: when i remove the cable it becomes lighter again. what can i do to fix this problem. the os is winXP
- this is often the potential saving scheme that incorporates a pc. you need to often have the skill to locate those settings interior the potential saver techniques. you won't locate the appropriate words liquid crystal show brightness or so yet try looking something XXXX default orsomething. See if that works. try others by technique of trial blunders to locate the appropriate suited placing for you. although you need to take your pc for a lots mandatory provider :)
