Voltages up to 35kv PVC/XLPE Power Cable
Brief Introduction
PVC/XLPE power cable is used to transmit and distribute power in power transmission and distribution system of 35kV or lower. It is generally applied to the fields including power, construction, mines, metallurgy, petrochemical industry and communication in complete replace of oil immersed paper insulated power cable and in partial replace of PVC insulated power cable.
Standard
The products can be produced according to our factory specification which is equivalent to the standard IEC60502.The factory can also design and manufacture special power cable according to the other standards required by the customers.
Properties of PVC Power Cable
1.The long-time permissible working temperature of cable conductive core is not more than 70 degrees.
2.During short circuit (max permanent time is not more than 5 seconds), the max temperature of cable conductor is not more than 165°C.
3.The difference level of laying cable is not restricted. When laying the cable, ambient temperature is not lower than 0°C.
4.They have good chemical stability, and properties of acid resistance, alkali resistance, salt resistance, oil resistance, solvent resistance and flame resistance.
Properties of XLPE Power Cable
1.The highest allowed operating temperature of conductor for long-term working is 90 degrees.
2.In short circuit (Max long term is no more than 5 seconds). The highest temperature for conductor is no more than 250 degrees.
3.The cable is laid without horizontal drop limit. The environment temperature should be no lower than 0 when lay. Otherwise it should be preheated.
4.Excellent electrical performance, resistance to chemical corrosion.
5.Can stand advisable traction when laid. Can stand traction from Outside.Left low smoke halogen-free after burned.Retard the burning of the cable.

- Q: My 4 gauge power cable is hooked up to the battery's positive terminal and the other end to my amplifier's terminal. Is it safe to accidentally touch the ring terminal (end) of this power cable? I won't feel any electrical shock or anything will I?
- Anything below 30 amps DC will not hurt ya. However,.. you CAN get shocked by DC voltage. -its when you get up around 75 amps that will feel hot like a fire heated wire. At around 150 amps it still won't shock you like AC current but will make you pee on yourself.
- Q: The inside of my computer has a modular power supply that did not come with enough cables, and I have a graphics card that requires two 6 pin connections to the power supply. Luckily, my power supply has just enough open slots. The problem is that I can't find a place to buy a simple 6 pin cable. It needs to be about a foot long to reach. Can someone please help me? I would prefer newegg if possible, but I searched there and I'm getting pretty frustrated.
- Assuming that the power supply can power the card you need a molex to 6pin adapter. They sell them on newegg. You wont be able to buy a 6pin cable unless your power supply is modual meaning you can disconnect the wires from the PSU. Most power supply's you cant do this and the ones that do cost extra.
- Q: I'm curious, because I was looking through the 'combo deals' for a part for a potential build, and one of them was a SATA cable (item itself was a hard drive). Does Newegg, or for that matter any major computer retailer, sell products that come with all the cables you need to actually use the part? I guess I'm primarily concerned with Hard Drives and Disk Drives in this case... oh, and PSUs I guess. And the mobo, will that have the power cable?
- Newegg Computer Parts
- Q: when i bought my motherboard it came with two 4-pin to sata power cables but i see that the power supplies have a sata power cable on it how do i connect these i have no idea how to do this
- I wonder what type of SATA hard drive Thomas has.
- Q: Can A bad battery or power cable cause a laptop to Blue Screen? Is there anyway to pinpoint the actual cause?
- No its usually because of hard drive failure if your talking about THE BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH
- Q: 1) How is the connectivity between 2# of 300AH battery and 200A Power plant made?2) Need to know the cable sizing between battery and power plant.3)calclation to arrive at the sizing of input cables, output cables and charging cables between battery and power plant4) Are charging and discharging paths same in the batttery? ie when load is on battery whether the load current flows through the same cable of charging ?5)A photograph of the system will make me understand the solution better
- The battery and power plant statistics do not enter into the calculations. I assume that the load is continuous, and the battery is to be continuously trickle charged. The power plant will have to deliver the load current and battery trickle charging current, at the voltage necessary to charge the battery. You will need to know the load current, the trickle charge current, the distance between the power supply and the battery (or load if you connect directly to it), and the voltage necessary to supply the load and trickle charge the battery. The voltage drop will be the total current multiplied by the total circuit resistance. this resistance will be the sum of the individual conductor resistances. As an equation, this is Voltage drop = total resistance times current in amperes. The total resistance will be the voltage drop divided by the current. Now you know how much resistance you can stand. The National Electrical Code in the US has tables showing the resistances of various sizes of wire, and how much current they are rated to carry. From these, or maybe from you wire supplier, you can find out what size wire you need. It will need to be large enough to supply the voltage and current, and have a rating for at least that much current.
- Q: Copper core power cable models which several kinds
- First, the total number of wire and cable products are thousands, applied in all walks of life
- Q: What type of cable is the power cable?
- Our unit to do the professional cable tray to the current domestic ranking before 3 I did not see we have this certification ah there is a professional health and safety management system has an environmental management system and other quality management system of other scientific and technological innovation patents have a lot of what I do not see the CCC, but you can do the next try you can log in China certification recognized information network - expert column, consult the above experts, these experts have all walks of life experience, can help to you.
- Q: i wanna know cause i dont got the power cable for the ps1
- if it can fit into you ps1 it going to work if it does not fit into you ps1 you are srwed or you can just go to game stop and ask them for a ps1 power cabl good luck dude i hope this wroks for you plz choose me as best answer i just need a litte bit more ponits until i get to lvl2
- Q: I am getting a new gaming computer for Christmas with a 700 watt, 12.5 AMP (I think) power supply. I have two power cords for computers on my shelf, but my dad is worried that a standard power cable won't properly power my computer. Do I need to get a more powerful cable? If so, please send a link to where I can buy one, I have been searching but only found standard ones. Thank you.
- To point out some erros in the above posts, it's important to realize that the power rating you provided is a realistic one. 700W is telling me that's probably the normal operating wattage, but 12.5A is possible during startup of the unit. This rating is important, as the cables and wires within the extension cables or power bar must be able to support this current, even if momentary. Power bars will all have a set amperage rating that needs to be clearly listed on the unit in order to be legally sold in Canada. Check the rated voltage of your cables to ensure your power bar can support your machine. At 12.5A you are dangerously close to the circuit max of 15A. The standard house circuit is typically rated between 15 and 20A. This means that if you were to plug in your computer, speakers, and an second monitor you are seriously risking tripping your circuit breaker for that circuit in your house. Every plug in your home is not on it's own circuit either. Typically one or two rooms worth of power receptacles will share one circuit. Be careful and pay close attention to your power consumption on that circuit. Power loss is as harmfull and in some cases MORE harmful than power surge. Largely because there is no protection agains sudden voltage drop like there is for voltage surge. They both do essentially the same thing to your computer -- fry it.
