Yes, our product portfolio also includes two ranges of self-priming pumps: self-priming electric pumps and self-priming side channel pumps.
5) Is it really necessary to fit a bleed valve for the boxes?
It is always best to have a bleed valve as the gas produced by the fermenting sewage is potentially hazardous.
6) If I increase the power of the motor, must I also increase the power of the inverter?
You must select the size of converter that allows maximum absorption of the electric motor.
- Q:can this happen that pump is pressurizing system and no flow in suction.
- Hi, It seems to me your question is miss- worded or it simply flew over over my head. I'm intending the same project when time is there for it. I m a' machine builder by trade as also an oilfeild welder so tend to trust my plans about design. My answer to your question is you can't suck water from a plugged pipe except one tiny amount that would create a vaccum. My plan is an inline hot water pump(automotive type) to go to and from the water heater while the pluming route may have radiators or other heat transfer sourses like plane pipeat various points of the house return in an open pipe flow lie.Thermostate control hooked tothe electric motor that drives the water pump
- Q:I Need a water pump, no matter its fountain pump or high stream pump. But the things or you can say the parameters i required in that pump is, 2 inch minimum outlet from where the water come out, pressure 130 or above (in PSI) runs wid a 1 or 2 Horse Powered motor not more then 2HP. And the pressure calculation is flow of the water (130 Psi) , like while water is streaming out.Any one who can sugest some water pumps which can fulfill or near or above to my requirements. thanks alot sir for you kind time.
- With 100M of 'head' you're going to need a constant displacement pump, and high pressure piping. I'd consider an intermediate lift station.
- Q:My water pump keeps getting quite hot after each use. Everything seems to be working properly, except I think that the heat may cause it to burn out and that would cause a huge problem. My pump pulls water from a ground level water tank and pushes water up three flats to the part of my house used for living quarters. The pressure setting is set to cut out at 40psi and cut in at 25psi. What can I do myself before calling in expensive experts?
- Probably needs new motor brushes.
- Q:what is a submersible well pump?
- lets break it down... submersible- able to be put underwater... well- deep hole that water comes from... pump- sucks the water...
- Q:it was fine before the water pump was done garage says it is just a coincidence? but could the water pump effect the heating?
- probably an air lock in the system, cooling systems need bleeding after fitting new components, try taking the cap off the tank and let the car fully get hot , it may blow the trapped air out as the coolant circulates
- Q:Hello online mechanics! You guys have saved me a lot of money on my car, so now I have a new question! I have a 97 Ford Contour and lately since it's been cool in NJ, I've been hearing a tapping coming from the timing belt cover, but when the car warms up, there's no sound. I took the car to my mechanic and he says that I need to have the timing belt replaced, the pulleys adjusted, and the water pump changed. The price for doing the timing belt was $400 (including adjusting the pulleys) and $700 for the timing and the water pump. My question is ; do I need to do the water pump? He says that if you do the timing belt, that you should do the water pump too, but should I if there's nothing wrong with it ( as far as I know) and I'm not looking for the added expense? I thought if it ain't broke don't fix it still applies to things, or am I mistaken? Thanks guys gals! In these tough economic times, I'm not looking to spend any more than is necessary!
- Hi if it was one of my customers i would recommend the water pump as in cases they have failed 500miles after the belt change.. especally on older cars 10yrz + its up to realy can you afford it are you weilling to gamble and pay the 700 anyway if it fails in the future...
- Q:we live in the country in the warm months and have a portable pump that takes water from a 15 foot deep well. It feeds water to a toilet and a hot water tank mostly and a sink and shower and washer. We put the pump outside the bathroom and need to know how to start it, thanks!
- I'm assuming it is an electric pump? You must be talking about priming the pump. You should add water to the system to create suction.
- Q:i mean, the water that runs through the ground from rain and ends up in the pit in the basement,is it clean to drink in an emergency? live close to a public road where they salt for snow and ice, so do you suppose that is in the water?
- In okorder /
- Q:OK i was driving and i noticed the gas pedal wouldn't really work and people were telling me to move so right away i moved to the side of the road and got my car towed home. a couple details are that there was smoke coming out of the hood, don't know what part of the engine though.there was not much water in the water pump. my dad thinks that the problem was it was leaking the water.the car turns on ac works it just shakes when it turn on the motor no condition to drive it obviously but it does take a little time to start the engine. i want to know if anyone knows what may be the problem and about how much it may cost.ohh btw this car model is a 1999 Chrysler Sebring Convertible 2 door.thank you!
- fill radiator and then start the car. Look for any leaking. Check radiator and all hoses as well as the waterpump. also look at both heads. Still if not then do the following. Watch the radiator cap. If the steam is coming out of the cap then replace it $6. If it still goes out cap then replace the thermostat. If there is no water signs then the head gasket needs replaced
- Q:We have a 3-story (including ground floor) house. We have 2 bathrooms. We need to invest in a water pump to deliver water from ground floor to all floors + 2 reservoir tanks (one located on first floor, and the second tank located on the second floor).Which water pump do you recommend among these:(1) Valco 261PL or Valco 261PT(2) Davey HS50-05TI'd be MOST grateful if you could kindly advice me on any reliable brand that you know (apart the ones that I mentioned). We're basically looking for a very reliable pump up to around $700 (preferably less).BTW, according to you, what's the typical horsepower we should be looking for? Will 1hp suffice??Thank you very much!
- Nobody can accurately answer this question until you give more information. To size a pump, you need to know the flow rate you are trying to acheive (gallons per minute) and the total head (feet) you are trying to acheive. GPM is based off the max flow rate of the fixtures you are using at any given time. Fixtures such as toilets and sinks have typical flow rates. Head is calculated by taking your incoming water pressure (psi) and subtracting pressure losses from pipes and fittings (psi) and working pressure of your furthest fixture. For a small building, like a house, you can probably estimate your head to be the height of your building (incoming water pipe to ceiling of top floor). If that distance is 30 feet, you'll want a pump to acheive 30 feet of head at about 5 gpm. 5 gpm will allow for a shower and a sink to run at the same time. Toilets are low gpm unless you are using flush valves instead of flush tanks. I've never heard of Valco or Davey. In commercial applications, I've always used Bell and Gossett, but that may be overkill. Just make sure the pump you are getting is a pressure booster pump and not another kind of pump.
