What are the materials?
Our rattan furniture is woven by hand with environment-friendly PE rattan on strong powder-coated metal or aluminum structure with soft cushions and pillows. The cushions are usually replaceable and washable.
1) PE Rattan/PVC Rattan/Poly Rattan/Synthetic Rattan: durable and UV and weather resistant
-- Round Rattan is usually more durable than flat rattan and more expensive.
-- Plenty of rattan colors are available for selection and the well-received colors are listed as follows: Changing Brown, Charcoal, Dark Brown, Cream, Beige, Grey, White, etc.
-- Rattan Size: Our common round rattan diameter: 2.4mm, 2.5mm, 2.9mm, 3mm, 3.3mm, etc. Our common flat rattan width: 6, 8, 10, 12 mm, etc.
2) Structure/Framework: Top Graded and powder-coated
--Strong metal structure is adopted if not asked. Aluminum structure can also be made at a higher cost. Aluminum structure is lighter in weight.
3) Cushions and pillows: water-proof and with zipper, replaceable and washable

- LOL...the process is too long and difficult to explain here. You have other options. There are some nice slipcovers available these days....

- I like my leather furniture. Everyone told me not to get it, but with leather recliner, my two year old got ahold of it with an ink pen and just a little bit of alcohol and some leather conditioner it was gone! After four years of the furniture I still love it and it still looks like new! I don't allow the kids to have their shoes all over the furniture, and not alot of toys are allowed in the living room anyway. If taken care of I prefer the leather because of the durability.
- Q: how to reahpolster a sofa?
- Go to the library a check a book out on upholstery. I have one but it would take me forever to type out the instructions. You will need a staple gun and lots of staples and a sewing machine. I reupholstered a sectional sofa with 2 recliners at both ends. I used a heavy duty drapery fabric. It turned out great! I have since given it away and down sized to a love seat and large chair with ottoman.
- Q: i have just ordered a new white leather corner sofa with black trim ie the black is minimal like where your feet go etc also big snuggle chair, and i dont really know what colour to paint my walls as at the moment they are cream with a black high gloss dado rail and my feature wall is black flock but id like to change it as im getting the new sofa i was thinking red but i have the red,white silver theme in my kitchen and i was thinking white but then again white on white may not be a good idea as i want the sofa to pop out, i was thinking about lime green for my feature wall im so confused much or any help would be greatly appreciated regards Michelle :)
- ANY color matches the white! do lime green on walls, and add black pillows on the sofa for a warm, blending effect.
- Q: HM Ausin high back sofa in need of new leather seating cushion covers, otherwise it looks good. Is it worth the money and how much would should I expect to spend?
- You will NEVER match the leather, so don't even consider that remedy. However, HM is a very good quality sofa, so I would highly consider having the seat back cushions reupholstered in a rich tapestry fabric. The look is very fashionable the cost will be RELATIVELY minimal. Call the best upholsterer you can afford cause this will be a worthwhile investment.
