What are the materials?
Our rattan furniture is woven by hand with environment-friendly PE rattan on strong powder-coated metal or aluminum structure with soft cushions and pillows. The cushions are usually replaceable and washable.
1) PE Rattan/PVC Rattan/Poly Rattan/Synthetic Rattan: durable and UV and weather resistant
-- Round Rattan is usually more durable than flat rattan and more expensive.
-- Plenty of rattan colors are available for selection and the well-received colors are listed as follows: Changing Brown, Charcoal, Dark Brown, Cream, Beige, Grey, White, etc.
-- Rattan Size: Our common round rattan diameter: 2.4mm, 2.5mm, 2.9mm, 3mm, 3.3mm, etc. Our common flat rattan width: 6, 8, 10, 12 mm, etc.
2) Structure/Framework: Top Graded and powder-coated
--Strong metal structure is adopted if not asked. Aluminum structure can also be made at a higher cost. Aluminum structure is lighter in weight.

- Q: I'm having this trouble with my 10 month old. She discovered a week ago that she can climb into the sofa. And I can not do anything else but to watch her. The second I turn around....she is up again. Should I remove the sofa from the family room? Where are we gon'na seat then? - This is a new discovery for her. You need to encourage safe behavior. When she gets up there, you need to turn her around show her back touches the back of the sofa. When it is time to get down...you need to move her so that she knows to lay on her belly and let her feet down first. Yes it is scary as a new mom....you just have to show her how to do it safely until she gets it. I know you want to protect her from everything but really our job is to teach them how to look out for themselves. This is just the beginning. You can't remove everything that is dangerous out of her life...you need to teach her what to do about it.The only things I removed from my living room for the sake of my children were burning candles. Even knick-knacks should stay in their place so that you can teach her that they are not to touch. Believe me this will come in handy when you visit some one who has not baby proofed their house. - No, it does not. It was likely velveteen, very similar to velvet, less expensive and not as thick and luxurious. Microfiber is another class of fabric, way down on the quality list. I would never choose microfiber for anything but a duster and sofa material should be cotton or silk or velvet, which is a blend of silk and cotton. Fine metallic threads are a wonderful addition to upholstery fabric but, velvet is my favorite for chairs. A floral with metallic threads is great on a sofa, or velvet. I love velvet. But it should be upholstery quality - more durable than something you would wear. Microfiber is paper thin and cheap. Cheap, cheap and more cheap. Not suitable for upholstery.

I haven't found that site, but here are some...the one I am thinking of even had storage built in beneath seats of chairs and in ottomans. I had to cut off the legs of my sofa once, and we put in big two way screws...on into the sofa, and drilled a hole so we could screw the legs back on....the sofa still lasted another 10 years.

- Did you check La-Z-Boy? They have all different styles. I bought reclining chairs that dont even look like recliners - they have wooden feet and no lever. I buy all my chairs and sofas from them, because they are so durable.
