Brief Introduction

PVC/XLPE power cable is used to transmit and distribute power in power transmission and distribution system of 35kV or lower. It is generally applied to the fields including power, construction, mines, metallurgy, petrochemical industry and communication in complete replace of oil immersed paper insulated power cable and in partial replace of PVC insulated power cable.

Properties of PVC Power Cable

1.The long-time permissible working temperature of cable conductive core is not more than 70 degrees.

2.During short circuit (max permanent time is not more than 5 seconds), the max temperature of cable conductor is not more than 165°C.
3.The difference level of laying cable is not restricted.When laying the cable,ambient temperature is not lower than 0°C.
4.They have good chemical stability,and properties of acid resistance,alkali resistance,salt resistance,oil resistance,solvent resistance and flame resistance.

Features of XLPE Power Cable

1.The highest allowed operating temperature of conductor for long-term working is 90 degrees.

2.In short circuit (Max long term is no more than 5 seconds). The highest temperature for conductor is no more than 250 degrees.

3.The cable is laid without horizontal drop limit. The environment temperature should be no lower than 0 when lay. Otherwise it should be preheated.

4.Excellent electrical performance, resistance to chemical corrosion.

5.Can stand advisable traction when laid.Can stand traction from Outside.Left low smoke halogen-free after burned.Retard the burning of the cable.

Q: I just put a new sound system in my boat with a sony xplod sub and amp, and also an infinity reference amp with 4 kenwood speakers. The problem i'm having is that i had to run the amp power cable right past the right rear speaker and now i'm getting a lot of feedback when the engine is turned on. Is there any way to insulate the power cable so that i don't get that annoying feedback through that one speaker? thanks-Josh: You have to move that wire away from the spk. is it close to the spk, or is the wire close to the one for the spk? You may be able to block the amp wire from the spk, by placing some wood of some sort between the two( hillbilly I know but...) The other thing you can try would be to wrap the amp wire with a plastic conduit, od a foam like expanding spray foam could shield it. You can also try a magnet ont he power wire to the spk.(that may take the feed back out of it.) Q: Hi all, I'm moving into a new apartment August 1, and I'm wondering how far in advance I need to call the power company, cable company, etc to set up service. I know this is probably a dumb question, but throughout college I moved into apartments where at least one of the other roommates was staying (I took over someone's lease who was moving out, but the other girls stayed so I was the only new resident). But I'm moving into a one bedroom, and I've never had to set these things up before so I just thought I'd ask what the standard time frame is. Is a month enough advance notice--should I start setting this stuff up in early July? Or sooner? Again, I know this is probably dumb but I have no experience so I wanted to ask some people who've been there and done that what the procedure is. They check your credit for outstanding balances on utility bills and base your deposit if any on that.

What matters is the amount of batteries you have. There is a significant difference between 500 to 1000 watts. But it depends on what enclosure is being used that makes it louder...much louder in some cases.

Q: what can i do so i can use my DL burner on my new pc?: EIDE (Enhanced IDE) is no longer a standard on most computers which uses SATA. In turn, they also use different power connections. The channel cable is dependent on the mother board, but the power supply is dependent on the power box. If there is an IDE channel, but no power cable, you have only two options. 1. Buy a new SATA based drive. 2. But a new power supply. Buying a new power supply to replace the one you have is definitely a void of warranty. You are much better off with a new drive.

Q: The Power cable of my guitar amp (roland cube 20x) was under my computer chair leg and when i sat down the fuse triped in the power box then when i checked under me the cable was almost cut across.. How can i fix this or where would i get it fixed?: Hahaha, that is THE most basic DIY ever. Ok go to you local hardware store and get maybe 4 foot of similar wiring, look around for what you want, get home, open up the back of your roland, find where the chord was wired, should be either soldered or clamped, undo these and attach the new wiring, if your cheap you could just take the plug head of the original cable and attach it to where the cable broke, and you'll just have a shortened power cable.
