Q: I have Sony Ericsson k 750i, i want to down load videos and ring tones in it, with data cable.
you could try those cool places on the web for songs and videos which you can upload to your phone through your computer using usb cord.
Q: I bought a USB data cable to sync maps on my GPS and Best Buy told me it was also a charger cable. Though the box only says it's a charger and nothing about the cable being a data cable. Are charger cables and data cables the same thing? I ask because my computer is not recognizing the GPS, it's only charging it and I'm wondering if it has to do with the cable.
If it's a USB cable and it fits, it'll work.
Q: Im getting a new ps3 and i deleted all the stuff for PlayStatio Home so i cant play it at all now so im wondering if i can get all my data and stuff on my new ps3 just by signing in to my account or do i have to use the erhernet cable
You have to use an ethernet cable. You should already have one. The accounts on your old PS3 don't automatically get deactivated, you need to do it yourself. Everything will transfer over. Any copy-protected data, like some gamesaves and videos purchased from the PS Store, will be removed from your old PS3 after they are copied onto the new one. Read this thoroughly before you start and follow the instructions exactly: manuals.playstation /document/ ransferutility.html
Q: I want to put custom ringtones on my new Virgin Mobile phone, but their site doesnt have my favorites. So I want to make a custom cable. However, I think there are four wires in a USB cable and two in an AC adapter. The connection between the two sets of two will give me a USB charger, but how do I make it into a data chaarger???
You cannot do this. Do Not try or you risk destroying the devices. I suggest that you get a software product called Data Pilot. This is a product created to interface various phone brands and PCs. It comes with the software tools and an assortment of Phone-to-USB connecting cables. It isn't free, but it's cheaper than screwing up your devices.
Q: i had always used bluetooth to transfer my files to my mobile but now i dont have bluetooth and i don't know how to transfer my files to my mobile through data cable.plzz help!
first of all select 'mass storage mode' in ur mobile
Q: got this data cable for LG2030, got the driver CD (meant for XP) along it, and Vista did the rest of locating the drivers from the CD to install the 2 drivers, and I had it work perfectly. A week later, I was doing Windows Update, and it showed an optional update for the driver of the USB converter for the data cable. I started downloading it, and just before it was going to get over, the internet connection got disrupted, and the download failed. Then on, whenever insert the data cable into the port, Vista shows a blue screen (not BSOD) showing stop error to prevent damage to computer and recommended me to reinstall the drivers. Once I uninstalled the drivers, and inserted the data cable, it just didn't say found new hardware nor asked me for the drivers. It just didn't work. Sorry for the long explanation. Please try to help me out!
See if you can roll back the driver in the device manager. If not reinstall the old driver. The next time you go Windows Update just hide that update. Also go to the manufacturer's web site and see if they have a recent update for the device. The reason it didn't show the error after you unplugged the device is because the computer no longer recognized it as being a problem device (it wasn't plugged in).
Q: I bought a 60GB HDD for the xbox360 and I don't really want to purchase the data migration kit to pull the data off my 20GB drive. Is it possible to transfer the data to my computer's hard drive by connecting the xbox 360 directly to my computer via a crossover ethernet cable?
No. There are only two methods you could use. One is the current Xbox 360s version of the action replay which is a memory card that can then be plugged into a computer. You can transfer the files from the xbox to the computer and then back however you will only be able to transfer files that will actually fit on the memory card. Most movies, videos, or full games you can forget about. Then there is the data migration kit which will transfer everything from one HDD to the other HDD. There is NO way to use the USB port of the xbox OR a crossover/ethernet cable to transfer data.
Q: Hey, I'm trying to get images from a motorola v3i phone, but when i connect the phone to the computer via a data cable, the images don't appear where they're supposed to be. There are no images in the image folder, or anywhere else!. They are saved to the phone, and theres no option to save them anywhere else on the phone. The data cable is just a plain USB DATA CABLE from MOT series from an old OKorder store!I need a way to get the pictures off of the phone, and on my computer! Please help!

Q: i am trying to connect my n95 to pc and recharge it and i was wondering if a data cable would to the trick.is it possible?thanx guys
Shur, just connect the device to a powered up PC and it will be charging. The device does not need to be powered up. Hope that helps.
Q: For my NExtel I275. Because i want ringtones and wall paper for free(other than the cost for the wire) Would i need any other program to get ringtones and walpapers. I have music and pictures so i dont need to buy the media but to get it into the phone do i need a program
go to nextel web site and see if they have the cable for your phone if they do make sure that you get the driver with it other wise your computer will not reconize it.
