- The short answer is you don't The most you can do (and I'm not sure why you'd want to) is power off the computer, unplug and replug the power and data cables and restart the computer.

- Q: I have a samsung e530 series phone and have bought a usb data cable so i can put my pics on my pc. Problem is the disc tells me that when i insert the cable i will get an install new hardware wizard to guide me through the installation. Nothing happens! The light on the cable lights up but nothing happens on computer screen. I have bought two cables as i thought it must have been faulty, same thing.What do i need to do i am very confused. - it is probably already installed. go to my computer and open it and it might be there already. most windows software will accept what you are doing without an install.

- As long as the RS-422 cable is twisted pair, I don't see any chance of interference between cables. The RS-422 line is terminated with a resistor of the same impedance as the twisted pair wires, further insuring the wires don't act like an antenna. I have used RS-422 over a mile without noise pick up in standard telephone cable. Do pay attention to isolating the 422 receiver IC from ground, because inside the IC there are paths to local ground. If there is a difference of over a few volts between the driver ground and receiver ground, one of the the ICs will blow up. The distance has nothing to do with the ground potential differences.

- You have to have a data cable. You can put themes on your memory card but for them to work you have to edit or put new files in your phone. That is where the data cable comes in. I tried but failed so went to OKorder and bought a cable for $4. It was easy after that.

- Umm data cable? If your talking about the usb I don't think you can obtain internet through your usb to your phone. You CAN find the update files and put them on your phone from the computer using the usb tho.
