- Did you try the sony website? I lost the charger for my camcorder that I bought about 4-5 years ago. I got a replacement for it on the sony website. No store carried the charge batteries in the camera charger, so I went directly to the source. I needed this type of charger because it's also the ac adapter. Even if it's a couple years old, give sony shot.
- Q: I have been trying my very best to transfer data from a motorola w215 mobile phone.We've clicked a very rare photograph from that phone there seems to be no easy way to transfer it to my computer. Motorola w215 is a phone with no bluetooth, no infrared we're not sure about the data cable.It has only slot for power headphones. Somewhere on the net, it was written that the data cable goes in from the headphone slot. But, we're not able to find any such cable till now. The phone came with no data cable or headphones at all. - When you install Nokia PC Suite you have Nokia Connection Manager installed as part of the package. If would be running in the system tray and/or you can access it from StartPrograms. Open that and select the connection as Cable USB. When you connect the USB Cable to the computer does the computer show new device connected and installs the drivers. If not check your USB Drivers and Reinstall PC Suite. I think this should help you out. By the way whats your Phone Model Number. If you need further clarifications please get back to me.

- You can NOT do that with just a data transfer cable, but the cable will not supply power to the drive. It only transfer information. What you need is a hard drive enclosure. It is a small box that you place the hard drive inside. It then has a USB cable that plugs into your laptop (or desktop). The USB cable supplies the power to the hard drive. Once in the enclosures, the hard drive will function as a external hard drive. You can plug it in, and it will show up as another drive (like an E: or F:) on your computer. You can then copy off anything you want. You also have the option, once you have copied your data, of formatting that hard drive and then continuing to use it as an external hard drive permanently. Enclosure start in the $30 range for a cheap aluminum one (good for one time data transfer, but not recommended for 24x7 eternal hard drive usage as they can overheat) to $75-100 for one with a cooling fan, to several hundred for one with fancy neon lights and other extras. Considering that a decent external hard drive will run you $100 or more, the enclosure is a cheaper way of not only recovering your files, but getting an external drive at the same time. Since it is a laptop drive, you will want a 2.5 inch enclosure, rather than a 3.5 inch designed for the larger desktop hard drives. And if the laptop is more than a year old, you will want an IDE connector (rather than s SATA). Good luck
