- What kind of cable is it? Is it a mini usb cable? Is the cable used for data transfer? If for data transfer than the disk might be a data transfer program or something. Look online for your phone type and the cable tye and it shold tell you if you need an installation disk.

- First of all, thank you, this question made me LOL! Second, your data is fine. The fact that it's USB 1.1 just means it won't go as fast as a USB 2.0 cable. I'm guessing it took longer than normal to do the transfer, correct?

- The data cable will do the job but you will need software for the phone. With the Memory card the card reader will import the photos as long as the card reader has a driver.
- Q: I dont have a memory card yet, but I did install a driver for it in which the computer says that it is working properly but I dont see it in the My Computer file.
- The computer won't recognize the device until you plug it into the cable. Normally, I would not install the driver like you did. I would go through the windows recognizing new hardware process when I plugged it in, and install the software drivers at that time when asked.
