Q: I already have the serial ATA (data) cable. What other cables would I need? Please help.: 1. Make sure your mother board can take SATA disk,it has a special socket in the mother board,not the IDE socket. Old computer mother board before 2004 without this device. Some mother board can support two to four SATA disks. 2.SATA disk needs a thin narrow red cable for data transfer between mother board. 3.SATA disk needs a special power plug. Infacts it uses the same type 5 volts and 11 volts but convert them into more contacts to feed the SATA disk. Some new type power supply has this plug for SATA. Other older type power supply requires an adaptor cable converting the 4 pins plug into SATA plug.

Q: If I use a transfer cable to transfer data from an old 360 to a new slim one can I choose what I transfer? I want to transfer my gamer profile and my saves but I want to leave everything else on there, can I do this without erasing everything off the old one?: Yes, when you plug in your transfer cable the xbox dashboard will bring up a check list bring just check all the stuff you want to have transfered. When you transfer your gamer profile and saves they will no longer be on your old harddrive but everything else will be there. If you are just transfering your gamer profile and saves you can just recover your Gamer Tag which will be easyer and will save you $20 on the transfer cable. to do this just go to the dashboard and press the xbox button and it is right there. You will have to download your map packs, game demos, arcade games, and videos again but will not have to pay as long as you bought them on your profile

Q: I just got a new laptop and I want to move some old files from my old laptop to it. Can I use an ethernet cable to connect the two and move the files?: i thinks so. ihave never tried it tho. you could just put the files on a usb and then transfer them

Q: I have downloaded nokia PC suite.but my Pc is not recognising the data cable.: Check via another USB port and see if it works. If that does not help, switch on the bluetooth of the phone, go to PC Suite and try connecting via bluetooth (if your pc is also bluetooth enabled). Also check if other devices are working when connected via the USB. Otherwise you will have to download and install Nokia PC Suite again and check if you have compatible software for 3500. I have had problems with PC Suite before and after fiddling with connectivity, I tried to reinstall it and it worked. This was for 6600. I used the CD that was given in the box. Hope this helps.
