Introduction:
Tower crane is used to lift, lower and horizontally move materials in construction and other industry. It has large lifting capacity and lifting height, wide moving range, and can rotate. It basically consists of base foundation, mast, slewing unit, working jib, counter jib, counterweight, hook, and operating cabin.
Features:
1. It has high working speed, good speed-adjusting performance, steady operation and high efficiency. Three-speed motor and mono-speed ratio decelerator are applied in the lifting struction, which enables heavy load low speed and light load high speed.
2. The range-change structure drives the dolly to change range on the horizontal arm, with good positioning performance. Planet gear decelerator is applied in the circumgyrating structure, together with moment-limiting hydraulic coupler, which can relize high load capacity, steady starting and reliable operation.
3. The crane has complete set of safety devices, which can guarantee the safe and high efficienct operation of the equipment. The machine is equipped with lifting height limiter, dolly range-change limiter, moment limiter, weight limiter, circumgyrating limiter, etc.
4. The operator's room is set independently on one side, with good vision field. It creates a good working environment for the operator.
5. Provide stepless speed regulation. Outstanding in working efficiency, operating stability and reliability,
6. The height can accordign to the actual height of the building and at the same time unchange the lifting capacity.

- Q: what kind of material is used in making of crane and what is the making process of crane.
- There are so many kinds of cranes that you need to pick one to get any kind of good answer - the tall T shaped cranes are simply welded up from tubing and barstock into modular sections that will fit on a semi trailer and be hauled to the site. Their structure shows in the photos. A boom crane with telescoping boom has to be made up of welded tube sections with bearings and hydraulic pistons inside and out. And of course, the base of a moveable crane adds a whole series of complications.
- Q: if someone have formula for that, one telescopic crane is lifting and i know about the boom lenght and redius, then how i can calculate the angle,if crane crane angle indicator is not working.thankyou.
- You can figure out your angle with the Pythagorean method. Also, you should NEVER operate a crane with any indicator device not functioning. This in violation of OSHA law and many state and local laws. If there is any damage or injury you will be held negligent..
- Q: how dose a crane work
- If you can bend over and touch your toes, bend over just a little more and grasp your toes with both hands. Next, lift your toes as hard as you can. If you now reach the ceiling (don't try this outdoors!) cranes can lift themselves as you describe. If you are still on the floor you have your answer and even know how the forces are applied (internally) to the crane. Good luck!
- Q: how many different types of cranes and winches are there?
- A bit more information might help. In England there are Winches and then there are winches. As for Cranes are we talking about birds.........actually there are only a few type of each.......but there can be quite a few variations of the basic types. let's say 6 types of cranes and 4 or 5 winches.
- Q: In the Pacific NW, what will get rid of Crane Flies in my yard?
- Crane Flies, aka Mosquito Hawks are beneficial insects and I would not get rid of them.
- Q: Well I folded 100 or so cranes from cheap origami paper (red, yellow, green and blue) before I decided that I could fold 1000 cranes a reality. My dilemma is, do I keep the 100 cranes I did and fold 900 of them to fulfill my wish? Or if I discard the 100 cranes and fold 1000, will my wish be granted on the 900th crane? The reason I want to discard the 100 cranes is because it's for my wedding and the color placement of the old cranes isn't fitting at all.Yes I'm aware it's not scientific or realistic, but it's more of faith, I'm not dumb.
- Consider what you would like your 100 cranes to mean. Attach strings to your 100 cranes and then hang them in a tree etc so that the wind may carry your prayers where they need to go. Then start again to create the 1000 paper cranes you want for your wedding. PS: The making of the paper cranes involves an act of faith, not the right colour to match your wedding plans. In Japan, the crane represents peace and healing. When we consider the famous Japanese art-form of paper folding (origami) the crane comes to mind before all else. Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes (1977), a non-fiction children’s book written by American author Eleanor Coerr, tells the story of young Sadako Sasaki who lived in Hiroshima at the time of the atomic bombing. Sadako developed leukaemia as a consequence, and lived out the remainder of her short life in a nursing home desperately trying to create one thousand paper cranes. Supposedly, if someone could make a thousand paper cranes his/her wish would come true. Sadako wanted to live. Sadly, she only managed to fold 644 cranes. After her death, friends and family folded the remainder, and buried her with the one thousand paper birds. Today, a statue of Sadako holding an enormous golden origami crane stands in the Hiroshima Peace Park. People regularly leave paper cranes. The plaque on the statue reads “This is our cry. This is our prayer. Peace on Earth.”
- Q: My husband and I will be going to the Crane Resort in Barbados for 3 nights in January. Just wondering, will we need to rent a car or is everything we need to see right there on the beach. Past Crane visitors or even Barbados civilians, please respond. Thanks :)
- The okorder / If you only are focusing on relaxing at your resort/beach then renting a vehicle is not necessary.
- Q: why do whooping cranes migrate? If its because its to cold in the winter then why not stay in the warm weather?
- It is freezing cold in the upper Midwest during the winter. Whooping cranes simply cannot find any food, even if they can endure the cold. During the summer, the upper Midwest has longer daylight hours and slightly cooler temperatures. than their wintering grounds in Florida. The longer hours allow them and their young more time to gather food. Reproduction is very taxing on the female body, even if it is just laying eggs. The young need the extra time and nutrition to grow quickly into adult sized birds. Small birds are more vulnerable to predators.
- Q: My understanding is that under Crane doctrine the tax basis of the property to begin with is Equity Invested + Financing (recourse or nonrecourse doesn't matter). i.e. 20K down + 80K purchase money mortgage = 100K. What if the property is appraised for only 80K right before purchase but purchaser paid 100K? Is the tax basis 80K or 100K.In other words, is the tax basis the actual assessed value of the property or is the tax basis the total investment? Thanks,Ben
- Your understanding of Crane is correct. For purposes of calculating the gain on sale, the basis would be $100k. What Crane really said was that the net proceeds would have to include any assumed debt, in addition to any cash received -- basically that you had to include the debt on both ends of the transaction if my reading is correct. (That jives with the example in Commissioner v Tufts et al, 81-1356 so I think we're correct on that.) Where basis gets interesting is when you are calculating depreciation. At least when you convert a residential property to business use -- i.e. a rental -- you use the LESSER of the cost basis (Crane) or the FMV on the date that the property is placed in business(rental) service. In your example, the depreciable basis would be $80k since that was the lower. For calculating the gain on sale, the cost basis would still be $100k (adjusted down for any depreciation allowed or allowable while in business use of course).
- Q: I'm 17 and I was planning on reading it for class, do you think it will be easy to read?
- Stephen Crane, Maggie is fantastic! I read it in school when I was 14 so I have no doubt you will have no problems in reading it. Maggie is the tale of an inevitable fall from grace on the part of a young, innocent girl trapped in the vicious world of New York City's slums. Yearning for acceptance and love, beaten at home by alcoholic parents, Maggie sets out with Pete, a local bartender whose cultured mannerisms elicit great respect from the impressionable young girl. However, when Pete spurns her for another, Maggie is ejected out onto the street, forced into prostitution to make a living. We last see her moving off, a huge, oily fat man in tow, for a darkened corner in the city's seedy underworld. If Upton Sinclair's The Jungle is a torrent of social anger and protest, Crane's Maggie is like a brilliant lightning strike, flashing across our vision and leaving us temporarily blinded. The book--scarcely 70 pages--is succint, brutish, and merciless. Crane allows his readers to form their own opinions regarding the characters. His innovative use of near-phonetic spelling to depict in the reader's ear the local dialect of New York's rough neighborhoods was shocking and difficult to comprehend when the book was first released. It lends Maggie an air of earthy legitimacy. Ultimately, Maggie is a cry for the plight of poor children--the souls we overlook with a callous unease mirrored in Pete's offhand, uncaring rejection of young Maggie's genuine love and affection. It is, without qualification, Stephen Crane's greatest and most moving achievement.
