1.What is tower crane?
Tower crane is a modern form of balance crane that consist of the same basic parts. Fixed to the ground on a concrete foundation (and sometimes attached to the sides of structures as well), tower cranes often give the best combination of height and lifting capacity and are used in the construction site.
2. What is the meaning of the tower crane’s code?
Take Tower Crane TC7135 for example, the first two letters “TC” means Tower Crane, “71”means jib length is 71 meter, and the last two letter “35” means the tip load is :3.5 ton.
3. What is the principal to quote the right tower crane to the client?
First, we need to know clients’ requirements,for example, max lifting capacity, height, tip load and jib length.. - I think it's a one time deal. You don't have to string them. You have as long as it takes. Look up Sadako Sasaki. She was a 12 year old Japanese girl who tried to fold 1000 cranes while in the hospital in the 1950's. She had A bomb disease, also know as leukemia. She got it because of the bombing of Hiroshima as a baby. She died after only making 650 or so cranes. It's a very good true story though.

- you make your wish once your done cause you only get the wish if you have 1000 cranes right so saying your wish when you only have 6 won't do anything. it can come true the next day till the next year or ten years it not something definite. I've never made 1000 but I think I will.

- LATTICE BOOM: See first link. This is where the boom (the portion used to support the load) is made like a lattice ... i.e. interconnected trusses and girders. The cables for lifting the load are run from the base of the boom to the load over pulleys/gears located at the boom's tip. The boom itself is NOT adjustable in length or in angle. HYDRAULIC BOOM: See second link. This crane uses hydraulics to adjust either the length of the boom, or the angle at which the boom joints intersect. It looks more like a single beam construction, although its probably closer to a tube type design (hydraulics may be inside or outside the arm). The load is raised/lowered by cables operating at the end of the boom ... not necessarily tied back to the bottom of the boom.

- 1. No need to be secured, the ladder inside the crane tower has many platforms. It's actually a heap of ladders and platforms not a single ladder. Usually the ladder is surrounded by a cage that would catch you if you fell. Once at the top there are handrails everywhere, you just make your way to the cabin. 2. Average here in Australia is about 1500 to 2000 non union and 2500 to 3000 union. 3. Not worried climbing but if there is a thunderstorm and you are in the cabin it can be scary 4. You shouldn't climb the crane when it's rainy as its all steel it is slippery if wet but sometimes it cannot be helped. You should wear non slip boots too

- Gravity acts downwards, force = mass x acceleration. Crane acts upwards at same force. As the crane starts to lift the car there is upwards acceleration that causes more force to be generated for a moment.
