2) This kind of crane adopts standard section hydraulic lifting and connecting, and can decide the crane height according to the actual height of the building, and at the same time the lifting capacity will not be affected;
3) It has high working speed, good speed-adjusting performance, steady operation and high efficiency. Three-speed motor and mono-speed ratio decelerator are applied in the lifting struction, which enables heavy load low speed and light load high speed.
4) The crane has complete set of safety devices, which can guarantee the safe and high efficienct operation of the equipment. The machine is equipped with lifting height limiter, dolly range-change limiter, moment limiter, weight limiter, circumgyrating limiter, etc.

- Q: Hello, i am goin in on Dec 5 to write the millwright C of Q for the 3rd time. On the test there was a question that went something like this The crane is rated 40Ton, with a boom lenght of 40ft and at an angle of 70 deg. The jib is 8ft long on a 10 deg angle. What is the sefe working load. The numbers are not correct but that is how the question is phrased. Please help me with the formula. I cannot find it anywhere.
- Normally you would get a chart for that crane and you look up the SWL at the extension and angle you would want to use, but you can calculate this too. Basic formula; mass*distance = newmass*newdistance, in the case you have described you have to take into account that the distance is not the load arm as it is not at a right angle to the force the mass has and therefore you would have to work that out via trigonometry. Any clearer?
- Q: Absolutely bs. I hope a crane falls on ALL these effin construction workers and their families and the building executives' heads. Let THEM have family members die or get hurt from these accidents - then they will get what's coming to them. They should all burn in hell. Total greed total total greed. They will pay
- It's not really the construction workers fault. It's the city inspectors!! They take short cuts, sign off on inspections that never happened, all because of greed! Then they can say they inspected them and go home early. Unfortunately it's the innocent residents of these buildings and the construction workers that die while they are at home all snug in their beds!!! That first crane accident should have taught them all a lesson, but evidently it did not. I think whoever was in charge of inspecting that crane should be arrested for manslaughter. The first guy got in trouble, I'm not sure to what extent but it obviously didn't make an impression on the rest of those lazy a**holes!
- Q: How do you get a crane down from a tall building once it's completed?
- In the US most are called Tower Cranes and they actualy lower them selves down part way then using Mobile Cranes they diss asemble them the rest of the way
- Q: in the karate kid 1984 is the crane kick something they just put in the movie and not real ?
- The Crane kick is an actual Martial Arts move it is done in some Hung Ga Kung Fu forms but differently than the one in the movie because it is done without jumping and is much faster the crane kick in the Karate Kid is just a figment of the director and screen writers imaginations.
- Q: can some one give me contact details for O & K Marine Crane Manufacturer?
- there okorder /
- Q: im really curious about the 1000 paper crane legend. i went on many different websites to learn about it. one said that you are supposed to have 25 strings to hold the paper cranes (40 each) on it and is that true? also a lot websites said that they used them for weddings so do you have to use them for weddings? or can it be any wish you want? i have a few more questions about it but i will ask whoever seems to know the most about it. thank you:)
- Most people give paper cranes to their love ones who are ill. Since it is a tedious job, they will all help each other in folding it. Shalbi I may be wrong, but I know that to be able to make a wish, you have to fold the cranes yourself. The wish can be anything, but the most common wish is to recover from sickness and have a prosperous life. A crane signifies longevity and fidelity that is why they like to use them on weddings. ^_^
- Q: and it appears to be looking up at the sky?
- I think critterman is the only one here that using any sense. Since the animal's neck is relatively long I think it's more than likely that it will be in an abnormal position after being struck. It's also possible, but I don't know for sure that the neck muscles that draw the head back are stronger than those necessary to allow it to lower.
- Q: Who was the guy called the Headless Horseman in the story of Ichabod Crane?
- Legend of Sleepy Hollow--The legend was that the headless horseman was the ghost of a Hessian soldier but the reality is that it's no doubt Van Brunt dressed up as the legendary horseman to scare Crane and make a fool of him so he is no longer in competition with Van Brunt for winning the hand of Katrina van Tassel.
- Q: What category is a Crane bird?
- I KNOW I KNOW! -birds-
- Q: I want to make a sculpture out of 1,000 paper cranes. I have sometime to work on it, but not months. Has anyone ever known someone to do this, or done this themselves? How much time should I allow for such a project?
- Do one and time it, then multiply by 1000. Subtract some time because you will get faster from experience.
