Lifting an engine requires a lot of work getting stuff disconnected and , even worse, reconnected when put back. Of the two, I believe the crane would more useful. Try some Golden Pheasants for a try ,Lady Amherst are becoming a rare commodity and are quite expensive,if you have Foxes and Mink,then no matter what you get you will have problems these two predators.
